Disney gift card question

Hello! Long time lurker here, first time poster.

I have a gift card question. We leave for a big family trip to Disney next Sunday (ekkkk!!) staying offsite so no dining plan for us.

I bought each member of my household a Disney e-gift card from target so I could get the additional 5% off with my red card.

I want everyone in my household to have their gift card on their device so if we are separated during the trip they can use their gift card to purchase drinks and snacks on their own.

Can I screenshot each gift card and text it to them and they can have the screen shot scanned for purchases? Seems the easiest way, but I was hoping to hear from someone who did this so I don’t set anyone in my family up for gift card failure!

It should work fine, as long as the GC number is visible. I recently used a screenshot of an e GC at the Disney store and it was fine
