Disney gift card NOT working for DVC dues?!

Hey all-- used $1000 gift card for one of my contracts, and now (different contract) I am getting an error that Disney will not accept my form of payment when I try to use another gift card. I thought that this was possible?

Try logging out and back in. It should work as I have done it before.

You have to choose pay by contract and then put in the amount you want to pay from your gift card. Type in the number and the first four that are hidden. I use GC's to pay MF's.

Select Amount to Pay

Pay Balance$0.00

Pay by Contract

Just used GC's to pay our MF's this afternoon .... no issues

I paid ours a few days ago with GC's, select "Pay Balance" then "Pay by Contract" then "Apply other Amount". You enter the GC's numbers down below when you select the payment method.

I just used two GCs to pay my dues last night. I had no problem with it, so it can definitely be done.

I’ve used multiple GCs without difficulty, too, but never as large as $1000, so I don’t know if that could be an issue.

Yes, and in my experience, it takes awhile!

I figured out what it was-- I applied the whole balance to the gift card assuming it would simply deduct the balance. I had to put the exact amount on the gift card. Makes sense.

It does! I end up buying some here and there and prepaying some of my dues before the statement comes out in December!
