Interesting. I wonder if it depends on your area. Possibly a question to ask GCM before someone who is nervous about a package buys.

Whats the maximum dollar amount your comfortable placing in one order from GCM? My concern is if I place a 1k order and USPS loses it am I up the creek without a paddle?

On orders of $250 or more, GCM used to ship UPS with a signature required. My last order of $600 received on February 22 was shipped USPS with no signature required, which I thought was strange, since every order before that followed their $250+ policy. I just now looked and it's now $750. I prefer ordering a larger amount and having it shipped UPS signature required rather than have it sit in my mailbox until I get home from work, so I'll make sure future orders are at least $750 if possible. As soon as I know my order shipped, I reroute it to the UPS store near work so I can run over on my break and pick it up.

I should add that while I am very leery of having them ship regardless, I live in an apartment building and my mailbox is locked, so once they get to me I'm not as nervous about someone stealing them.

That is so good to know! I have been "churning" $600 but maybe I'll switch to $750 (I need more gift cards anyways..)

My last two orders of $900 each have been shipped via USPS, no signature required. I also have a locked mailbox so feel OK with that. They used to all be shipped via UPS and I would have them re-routed to my local UPS store for pick-up.

Dang! I even read the T&C and it just mentions not eligible on ebay gift cards, but am waiting for my latest target purchase to be activated, so hadn't tested it yet.

It doesn't work with any giftcards. It will let the $100 in giftcards count and then get $20 worth of non giftcard stuff free though. I am thinking about getting a $100 gift card and then trying to find a good phone to run swagbucks and perk on. Can't decide.

good idea! I'll have to think on that for a bit and see what I come up with...any advice on a phone? Otherwise I might get my son some trading pins or something...

Actually it let me add a $50 giftcard to my cart, and two LG Fuels for $102 and then it took off $20. You could do this with Disney ears, lanyards or other souvenirs to get them ahead of time.

I spoke to eBay and they are escalating my complaint, as terms and conditions specifically state eBay giftcards are excluded; but makes no mention of any other giftcards being exempt. Probably won't get anywhere, but I feel companies should stand behind their promotions.

I got that yesterday, but I was only trying to buy $150 worth. I haven't been into the store yet to try.

I tried last night to get 5 $25s and that was also canceled, so I went into Best Buy today and they had plenty of $25s and a bunch of $50s for ebay cards. They also had a bunch of $50 Disney cards. I only tried to get 5 $50 ebay cards and presented 2 of my $150 printed Best Buy gift cards. Had no issues whatsoever. I still have $300+ left in Best Buy gc from this and other promotions, so I will go in again soon to spend the rest

Doesn't have to be $20 worth. I bought a $100 Target gc + some body butter for 18.99, and it deducted 18.99 as my coupon value. Nice freebie!
