Oooh we can play the Kevin Bacon version of Indianapolis! My daughter goes to DM (in MSDPT) and you can find me at the YMCA almost daily. We go the church at Holy Rosary and are involved in the traditional Catholic community in the city.

Glad to hear everyone is shopping at Meijer and getting their gift cards. I bought 1 today and my husband bought 1. We need to add up how much food we are planning on buying at Disneyland in December. We are staying off property, so we just need to buy food and shopping.

DD6 and DS5 go to CY (MSDPT) and we're at the Y daily too. DS4 is in the preschool there, pre-k afternoons and the kids are all involved in various activities at the Y too.

My son in in MTWTh morning... last year he was MWF afternoon. We are in soccer at the Y and cheer through PTYFC. We need to wear lime green shirts the same day and watch at the Y... crazy small world! I'll PM you a family pic!

And I'd totally rock a lime green shirt, although almost all my tops are Disney ones these days. The fabulous wardrobe of a SAHM w/ too many trips to WDW under her belt!

aha! I knew it! There really aren't too many Miles' in this area. Seeing the pic really confirmed it too.

Well make sure you stop and say Hi if you see us at the Y! Logan is in Mrs Woodard's afternoon class so either my husband or I are there 2x/day.

We arrived at our Meijer here in Kentucky around 5:45am, just before the cards went on sale at 6am. There were 10 of the $25 cards and 20 of the pick your amount cards. We grabbed all of the $25 cards and 10 of the others and made our way to the U-Scan. At 6am there was a lady that either knew the system really well, didnt know it at all, or was a huge disney fan. My wife took 10 and I took 10 then we started to scan the cards. We decided to to do ONE $25 card per transaction for the first 5 cards, giving us 5 $25 gift cards and 5 $5 coupons. On the second set of cards we scanned the card, then scanned the $5 coupon and it said we needed to give it to the associate. She input some information into her system.....about 10 seconds later, the price goes from $25 to $19.70. We did this for the remaining 10. No problems, or no questions asked. So here is what we got: $500 worth of gift cards for $447, plus we used our disney Visa and should recieve disney dollars back. Good Luck!

Just to let everyone know. We already had a package booked and paid for. Since I had 20 $25 gift cards I didnt want to carry them around. I contacted Disney Reservations and they applied the gift cards one by one to my account, then credited my checking account with $500, which I should see within a week or so.

Answering the question What about Park tickets?

My husband gets discount tickets from work. Actually he is calculating the difference in gift card with coupon vs his discount price. 3 day pass for 3 people. He is telling me it may be about the same price. Wow that would be a lot of gift cards.

I got my first two yesterday with my husband. We were doing a "trial run". But I did them at the self scan and now I know that I can buy the preloaded gift cards at least there. I need 10 more, maybe 14 more (debating how much spending money we need, we have DDP, so we don't need much food money but we WILL be doing some shopping!).

Does anyone know of anywhere in WDW that doesn't take the gift cards? I thought for some reason I read that Pick A Pearl in Japan wouldn't take them. Did I misunderstand?

No, one $25 gift card per transaction is your best option. Purchasing two on one transaction will do nothing more than give you one $5 coupon. The coupon says that it cannot be used for gift cards, but if you are lucky they will let you use it. If they do let you do it, then the $5 coupon will not print out anytime you use a coupon.

Tonight I got a cashier who was willing to try using more than one coupon. Boo it didn't work! The register only let me use one. They were willing to let me use a bunch in different transactions though! Now I have less coupons than days till the expiration date so I am feeling much better about it!

We did 4 more today... I have 6 $25 gift cards and need 12. Halfway there! I've been spending them as I earn them (going back into the store to shop after getting the coupons).

I am buying things we need for the trip... getting some great deals!

*I used a regular coupon with a $5 Disney coupon to get Night Time Pull Ups for $2.49.
*I got 3 boxes of Kool Aid jammers (for our travel days and in the hotel) for $0.
*My brother asked me to pick him up some Purex Sheets (he travels for a living and I try to get things to help him out when I can) so I got the big 38 refill pack for $3.50 by using a Purex coupon and the $5 coupon. Since it was the refill pack, I put it in an empty Purex container I had for him and kept 5 sheets to take to Disney with us.
*I got two boxes of KASHI TLC bars for less than a dollar.
*I combined a $2.50 off you next purchase of salty snacks of at least $9 and the $5 to get $10.50 worth of chips (the packages of small bags) for $3.
*I got a 24 Pack of Dasani and a box of Quaker Granola bars for $1

I was going to buy these gift cards anyway and I needed to buy all the stuff I bought anyway, so these deals are super exciting to me! Anyone else want to share there good deals with these coupons? Especially if you are buying stuff for Disney, I want to hear what you bought!

Ok, which one of you bought all the cards at my store?! Awesome that some of you have been able to roll the coupons. Mine wouldn't let me, but that's Ok. I'll take the $5 off my bill. I am in there enough, that is for sure! If anyone needs batteries for their cameras...I got some today, duracell had a instant $3 off if you bought two packages. So I used my coupon and got $8 off my batteries. Would have been even better if I had my duracel coupons. But I still need to get some for my smoke detectors, so it's not a total loss.
