Disney Gift Card and a PO Box

Anyone know why Disney won't deliver a gift card to a PO Box? To me that is so much safer that a mailbox that might be 1000 feet from my house. Any clue?

If they ship by UPS or Fedex they can't have it delivered to a PO Box.
