Disney Genie+ and ILL$ Details & FAQ - Launches 10/19 at WDW, Paid "FastPass" at WDW and Disneyland (date TBD)

Yup. Could only get one FP for SDD, even after first 3 and appropriate tiers were fulfilled. At least for one trip it was like that- I remember a CM explicitly explaining that to me since I had an error message when trying to grab it later in the day.
Well, SDD is so uber special that you won't even get to ride it once with Genie+. That will require specific payment per person to ride.

They also had explicit exclusions on this. I remember this as SDD was one of them you could only do once.

At least I recall an error popping up when trying to grab an additional pass. Let me make sure I'm correct on this though. If anyone can confirm or refute this I'd appreciate it. Thanks
We definitely got multiple fp+ for SDD in a day. Both in 2019 and 2018. They were our chosen FPs and then we got them again at the 3:01 drop. I remember how excited we were.

My guess is that they want to save as much inventory as possible to try and sell somehow.

That would have been a matter of personal preference. I'm talking about what the system offers. This system offers less for more.

No, you're right, but I was more talking about the actual impact to me and most users. I rarely double-dipped with FP+ because I only got to select three to begin with,, then my additionals were usually for other things that I couldn't get. So for me it's not a huge hit - though I still don't like the restriction.

It is weird, TouringPlans is reporting 10/10 crowd levels for MK and Epcot yet at 9am...

Test Track - 30 mins
Frozen Ever After - 10 mins
Soarin' - 10 mins
7DMT - 45 mins
Splash - 20 mins
Pirates - 35 mins
Jungle Cruise - 50 mins
Haunted - 35 mins
Space Mountain - 20 mins

At AK and HS...

Flight of Passage - 30 mins
RoTR - 80 mins
Slinky - 25 mins
MMRR - 5 mins
Smuggler's Run - 5 mins
ToT - 13 mins (Is this a joke when there is no wait?)
RnR - 5 mins

Are people just not riding rides today?...

Even watching the Live Streams of MK though - it doesn't really look that crowded. Did Disney limit Park Passes to make it look better on the live streams and TV spots hoping that people will be attracted to coming in the next 18 months?

Just seems strange for what I thought would be a bad day for crowds.

The only people who care about today are the hardcore fans and the vloggers. Outside of that I don't think this anniversary is as big a draw as people are thinking it is

That's because everyone is in line for merchandise.

When wait times didn't start increasing this week, i thought this may be what ended up happening. I just can't see crowds coming back for the foreseeable future. At this point, i'm convinced people canceled their trips back in July/ August, and rescheduled for next year

That and it is still a workday for most people. Tomorrow will be the real test. I think their numbers will be lower than they were expecting.
i do think the weekend will be busier, maybe a 5/10, but this is not what anyone has anticipated. from what everyone was reporting heading up to the 50th, (wall to wall crowds, not enough oxygen to go around), to a standard day in Oct crowds is a little nuts, but i think that COVID is definitely causing crowds to dwindle

Presumably the park will be at whatever current capacity is for both days?

IDK, did you see the pictures of the crowds at MK? They were starting monorails at 4:30. I've seen IG stories where it's exactly what is reporting, massive crowds, but everyone's in line for merch. And if you want to ride rides, you're in good shape.

i can't imagine that everyone showed up specifically for merch, and if they did, i would also make the assumption that it is mostly Floridians capitalizing on that, and potentially after the weekend, the crowds will die back down
