Disney gc for food?

Last year we stayed onsite and had the QSDP. I loved not having to watch our money constantly going out for food. This year we are staying offsite. Can we use a gift card at most counter service places for food???

I'd be much happier handing over a gc rather than cash all the time...easier to carry as well.

As long as there is a swiping machine, you can use a gift card.

If you are staying onsite, you can also use the gift card as payment on your account. That way you have one less card to keep track of.

You certainly can! We did that last year when we stayed at Shades of Green. I loaded 2 giftcards, one for me, one for my husband, with $100 each (so that if we lost one, we weren't out too much). We used them for food mostly at CS places and snack carts, and when they got low, I refilled them. Easy!
