DISNEY Frozen Fun LIVE at HS Starting July 5 UPDATED

Anna and Elsa's Welcome Show 11am

“For the First Time in Forever: A ‘Frozen’ Sing-Along Celebration” – 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm. Of course, show times are subject to change, so you’ll still want to check the in-park Times Guide on the day of your visit. NO FAST PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE

Premier Theater is located on the Studio Backlot, at the end of the San Francisco section of Streets of America. Soundstage One is on Mickey Avenue, near the entrance to the Studio Backlot Tour.

The ‘Frozen’ Fireworks Spectacular will be presented nightly at 9:45 p.m. through August 16 (shifting to 9:15 p.m. Aug. 17 – Sept. 1, due to earlier sunset). Please note that the ‘Frozen’ Fireworks Spectacular will not be presented on Aug. 23, when Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes at 7 p.m. to host the Villains Unleashed event.

Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Frozen Funland will operate from regular park opening until 8 p.m. It will not be available during Extra Magic Hours.

Olaf is going to be all over the place, enjoying his first summer vacation, and won’t be available for character greetings. You’ll hear him throughout the park and see him pop up on screen at several locations. Take-Along Olaf is a complimentary keepsake of Olaf, printed on card stock and distributed to guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios during Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! I think people are going to have a lot of fun posing for photos and selfies with their Take-Along Olaf. And if you share your photos to #OlafSummerVacation, they may get chosen to be included in the nightly finale show (part of the ‘Frozen’ Fireworks Celebration).

“Frozen” Fireworks Spectacular – Everything wraps up at 9:45 p.m. when Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf come together at the Sorcerer’s Hat Icon Stage for a grand finale to the day’s festivities, kicking off an awe-inspiring fireworks display set to the glorious music of “Frozen!”

The giant Sorcerer Mickey Hat on Hollywood Blvd. gets the full Frozen treatment with special projections of snow and ice images, in an eye-popping spectacular above Hollywood Blvd. Set to the film’s soundtrack, the fireworks show will feature special guests – including a very magical appearance from Elsa in which she will show how her powers flurry “through the air and to the ground” to produce magically icy blue and white gleaming fireworks.

So glad we were booked for 7/2-7/8- otherwise, I would have definitely booked another trip!!!! Can not wait to see this!!!!

Keep trying and keep looking!! I booked two days ago for a 9-day stay in mid-August and found an A&E FP for our LAST day there. We need to leave the park by 2pm -- the FP is for 1:20.

So keep checking! This happened to me during our last stay, too. I looked and looked and looked -- and one FP popped up 30 days before our trip!

You know, late last night I read a tip somewhere to just try A&E fastpasses for just the people in your party for whom it's a MUST DO, so I dropped my numbers from 6 to 2 and I FOUND 2 FASTPASSES! They are not until 9:10 or so, but we HAVE them and I am just so thrilled! I wanted to wake my daughter up and tell her, but managed to wait until this morning. She screamed and gave me the biggest hug.

Trying to rearrange my plans...

We've been wanting to ride ToT at night. I currently have a FP for 8:30-9:30, and was going to ride about 9:25 when it was dark. (This is for July when it stays light really late.) With the fireworks, this won't work as I know we'll have to stake out a spot. Do you think if I made it for 9:00-10:00 I could ride immediately following the fireworks? The park closes at 10:00.

just a heads up(literally) for the fireworks:
Not sure if it will be the same as SWW, but the space to shoot them off isn't all that large
DD saw them 2x's and said she was wearing some ash after they were done, lol...didn't bother her, but might be not so good for little ones. Again, NO idea if the same plan is in place (and maybe not if that was happening) but thought I would mention it. I know a lot of locals on these boards went to SWW so maybe they can explain better

I think that is the only area where the fireworks can be shot off. The Backlot Tours area, TSMM, Darth's Mall/Oaken Trading Post and that entire corridor are blocked off before the fireworks as that is the main fall-out area. Where the smoke and ash fall depends on the wind conditions... and hopefully all the spent shells drop in the blocked off area.

They seem to be doing a similar setup as they did for SWW with a finale "show" on the stage screen that leads right to the fireworks. That would put the whole over right when the park closes, so unless you're watching from right outside ToT, you won't have time to get in line.

I don't think they will keep the little parade thing in the morning, the fireworks, or the dance party. Especially once the parties at MK start.

The only thing they might keep is the singalong show.

I really hope they extend at least some parts of it. Younger sister and I are a bit heartbroken over it only being for this summer. Maybe the playarea or something? I dunno. Just rambling here I suppose, but I'd love for some of this to stay.

Exactly! DHS needs all the attractions it can get. And I will also bet if they keep it, it gets a tier 1 FP
