disney for the home?

anyone know where i might be able to find out where i could purchase a disney themed linen table cloth, linen napkins, or napkin holders...

trying to get ideas for our dining table..

I have no idea where you could get these things. My only idea is to check the fabric store and see if they have a pattern you like and make it yourself or what I am thinking of doing is making some stamps of the characters shapes (probably just Mickey heads) and stamping a table runner.

My family loves Disney and we are trying to decorate our house in such a style but it is hard to find things. I am trying to be creative and come up with ideas myself.

The Disney catalogs have a wonderful supply of themed merchandise. You can also pick up buys at DTD--there are several shops that cater to most any "home" area.

get on www.disney.com and use the shopping button. I can't believe you won't find what you are looking for.

The one shop in CR (4th floor, on the right facing towards MK) sells a lot of kitchen stuff. Not sure about linens though.

well, one of my relatives actually started me on this... since my husband and i are such disney fanatics... for a wedding present they bought us some mickey kitchen utensils, pot holders, a spoon rest for the stove, and some canisters. so i bought a few more things to go with it.

i have a table in my kitchen that i am trying to decorate nicely to match the theme of my kitchen. We don't use this table that much so i thought that I could decorate it with some cloth placemats and napkins in rings on top of them...

i was at dtd a few weeks ago and went to the home store and they said that they don't sell napkins or placemats there anymore. they asked me to look at other stores. i didn't see any at the disney store.

so i thought that i might ask some other disney fanatics to see if anyone else has decorated their house in the same way before? and where did you get it from?

Hi All,
I am bringing up this old thread as I have been searching for a few years now for Mickey Mouse table cloth and napkins - but to no avail.
Ive tried all the Disney shops at DTD and theme parks and most Hotels.But nobody has any.

Ive tried searches online on a variety of sites and no joy!!

Has anybody recently baught such items please?

I too got the hair brained idea to do my kitchen in Disney. I can't believe how hard it is to find stuff. So far for my table I have went to Pottery Barn kids and bought the solid red and black placemats, they're not linen but since it is a functioning table it works for us. On top of these I bought the clean Disney placemats at Dollar General. They have the fab 5 on them and are smaller than the ones from Pottery Barn so it looks good. In the center of the table I have a white table runner trimmed in black with mickey heads on it. It actually is a large scarf that I found on ebay but it works! Then last year I bought the Mickey status holding the cookie plate from the DTD kitchen store. He sits in the very center. I have not done the napkins and rings yet since I figure I'll have to make them somehow. We go back in 4 weeks so I was going to look in the DTD kitchen store then. Our kitchen has been redone in stainless and black so I bought the stainless wall clock last year at The World of Disney. Also have several other things hanging around. I used the Mickey and Minnie glove pot holders to hang on the ends of my upper cabinets for decor. Stuff like that.
