The only truly bad food we had at disney was at Tomorrow Land Terrace Noodle Station. The only thing we liked was the Ginger Creme Breulee. Everything else was yucky

I have to whole heartedly agree with this. I had the terryaki chicken and it was horrible. The only thing we liked were the ice cream bars we got for dessert.

Other than that I thought the food was pretty good. We ate at the following restarants last week that we enjoyed:
Ohana, Norway princess breakfest (DD loved the cinamin rolls), Teppenyaki, Boma's, Wispering Canyon, ESPN Club (basketball tournamet was on so DH was happy), Crystal Palace, Pizzafari, UK Fish and Chips (can't remember the name, but I loved it), Leaning Palms, Cheesecake factory in Disney Quest, Pecos Bills, Toy Story Pizza Planet (DS wanted to play video games, we had fun)

the only really bad food like send it back or gag food we had our last trip was scifi( burger) husband got it and well he'd eat his shoe if he was hungry enough which probably would have been better than his burger :) I would have sent it back he was fainting from hunger  so he ate it.
i think the food has improved over the last 10 yrs or so till it's pretty much what you would find at many if not most rest. in the real world. ( not ***** but not * either)
most places we like fine. i had really good pork chops at wcc..not even a big fan of them but they were juicy and perfectly prepared and the potatoes were good and i never get mashed out cause they taste so fake ususlly. same with my steak at BD.it was very good.
I don't think the pizza is horrendously bad, in fact i like pizzafari ( not so much at por food court) but i don't really eat a steady diet of it at wdw
some places like ohana are imo way overpriced for the quality of food(I would never go to a place with dry meat like that for even 1/2 the price out of wdw although i won't be going to ohana again either)
my biggest complaint with wdw food is i don't really care for buffets and there are so many. almost ever character meal is buffet or barfet
however, given the options i would have said "good food with a few really good anda few really bad places" :) instead of "wonderful" food....

I chose the first option "wonderful food with a very few bad places", only because we've had a couple of bad meals in our many trips to WDW. One was at ABC Commissary, very tasteless food, we threw it away. Another was a meal at the Mara at AKL - our food was cold and not that great. Most people give thumbs up to the Mara, though, so we'll probably give it another try.

We also had a so-so meal at Spoodles, but will give that one another shot, too, could have been an off night. We also had a less-than-memorable meal at Liberty Tree Tavern, which so many love, but it has been 10 years so I really should give it another chance!

I'm not a huge fan of the buffets, but the food is pretty good, overall. We enjoy Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fair.

Our favorite restaurants are Kona Cafe, Jiko, Brown Derby, Flying Fish, Yachtsman Steakhouse, WCC, Ohana*pre-menu change*, '50's PT, Casey's, CA Grill, Le Cellier, San Angel Inn - there are probably others, I just can't think of them, lol.

My younger son has eaten many, many CS pizzas over the years, and he loves them, so go figure! ;)
