Citricos
Trio of Sorbet - raspberry, cappucino and almond. The raspberry was amazing! The cappucino was ok, nothing special, but the almond was also very nice. The red "line" on the front of the plate was a berry puree which was tart and complimented the almond nicely. The white chocolate "stick" was also yummy!
Warm Chocolate Banana Torte
This was my friend's dessert but I tried a bite. SO RICH! Delicious, but one bite was all I could manage. She, however, finished it. It was beautifully displayed on the plate with a chocolate "tiara". (Also tasty!)
And just any FYI for those who are thinking they might like to eat here - for dinner I had the Filet Jardiniere. It was wonderful, cooked medium-rare. The highlight for me, though were the Quattro Formaggi (four cheese) crushed potatoes that came with the dish. To die for!!!
My friend had the Grilled Swordfish, which she explained is the closest thing to perfection this side of heaven! LOL
