San Angel Inn (I was scared because of all the bad reviews on here, but this turned out to be one of our favorite meals of the week!)

Chips and salsa

I don't remember the exact name of this dish. It's not listed on either of the San Angel menu's I'm finding online. It's a chicken breast in a cream sauce with fresh cheese over grilled onions and peppers.

This one isn't listed on the menu's either. It's a steak with a 3 pepper sauce served over corn radish.

Once again, not listed. This was the BEST dessert I had ALL week. SOO yummy. It's a white chocolate mousse with fresh berries drizzled in mexican milk caramel. Served in a flauta (I think thats what it was called)

This isn't on the menu, either, it's chicken breast with spaetzle in chicken broth topped with applewood smoked bacon. It was almost like a chicken noodle soup it was SO good.

The chocolate wave (they changed this from the last time we had it 2 years ago. we both didn't care for it much at all this time)

I meant to take pictures of counter services but I completely forgot. That was on my to do list too. I also forgot to take pictures at Planet Hollywood, Crystal Palace breakfast, and Kona Cafe for breakfast.

Is it just me or do the plates from the meals at Le Cellier look pretty bare???

Looks like the fillet, prime rib and new york strip all have no veggies served with them, just meat and potato.

I dont remember the meals being this small last time!

we were not impressed with Le cellier this trip. it could have been an off night...i'm not sure. our waiter was awesome as were all the other CM's working there. the food was just not impressive. we probably will not return next year. however, the portions were pretty much the same as i remember them being last time we went...Sep 2006.

We are eating here for the CP pkg and were wondering...how did you know to order these if they weren't on the menu? Did you just add/sub things? We are ignoring the bad reviews and hoping for a great meal! Thanks for the review of the food!!!

Sorry...what I meant was they weren't on the allears menu's online. They were, however, on the menu at the actual restaurant :) I guess the restaurant has changed their menu. Either that or they offer different things on different days? I'm not sure... We had a really good waitress and the food was great! I hope you enjoy your meal there!

Le Cellier got a new chef April/May time if I recall correctly, and that's when all the changes to the menus happened......

I normally dine there 3 times in a trip, this time, we are doing 1 lunch, and have cancelled our other adrs as they have messed with the key menu items we loved so much..... very very sad indeed.

We were just there on Sept 5th....best meal, by far, I have ever eaten at Disney! The plates at LeCellier are HUGE making the meal look rather small in the pics...trust me, I can eat steak with the best of them but I only ate 3/4 of my NY Strip (I would say the total size of the steak is at least 14 oz), cream cheese mashed potatoes, some pretzel bread (and cheddar cheese soup dip, of course...maybe 2 breadsticks) and I was so stuffed I only took maybe 3 bites of dessert. I am a meat and potato type girl but do like my veggies as well...I did not miss them at this meal at all. I guess it makes more room for pretzel bread, steak, and those yummy cream cheese mashed! :cloud9:

Totally agree about Le Cellier..... we ate lunch there in August and it was a PERFECT meal!!

I have to agree on Le Cellier as well. We ate their twice during our last trip. Both times we had great servers and excellent food! You can't beat cheese soup and pretzel bread or the mushroom filet - yum! :goodvibes
