I totally agree with you!

Thanks MickeyNicki,,,,,,and thanks also for the great pics..........
I think you just helped me make up my mind.
I had an ADR for Chef Mickeys on Sat. of my trip, but now
that I have seen the pics from Grand Floridian Cafe I am
switching! I stayed there in 1988 when they first opened,
and haven't eaten there since. Looks like it will be amazing!
I appreciate you taking the time while on vacation:flower3:

Can you get this with a DDP Snack credit?

You can also get this in Sleepy Hollow (I think that is the correct name). It is near the Hall of Presdients. This was my DH's favorite snack on our trip.

The picture didn't show up but this is for the ice cream choc chip cookie sandwich.

CR beverages. Our camera got messed up when we ate here so I don't have too many pictures.

Mostly drinks

MickeyNicki,

Thank you for taking the time to post your restaurant photos! Your posts are helping me decide which places to make ADRs for our next trip! Hope you are having a fantastic time at WDW!:)

Continuing my food countdown....

My entree at The Plaza...

Angus Chuck Cheeseburger - served on a flour-dusted kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Choose from the following toppings: Cheddar, American cheese, Bacon, Grilled Mushrooms and Grilled Onions $11.49

I chose the mushrooms.... no onion and I do believe I didn't eat the tomato... it looks nasty even in my pic

Oh man! I wanted the Land and Sea and it's not on the menu! :headache: Thanks for posting the photos, how was the food? Should I keep my ressie?

Keep it, the food was amazing! Full review is in the link on my signature

hmm...how was the tangerine daquiri?? looks like maybe it would be good to me...

It was ok, sweet and not boozy enough for me. The mixture in the machines are all "virgins" and they pour the booze in the glass before the mixture. I kept stirring it up trying to taste the alchohol but it didnt do it for me, refreshing tho

OMG MickeyNicki,

Thank you for those pics from Grand Floridian!! I read through the menu and thought "I would get that pasta dish!!" and then, there was the pic. Was it as fantastic as it sounds? (but that steak looks amazing too) My next thought was "how could you ever choose a dessert?" and then there was that beautiful dessert sampler, WOW!!!

Please don't take this the wrong way but, are you enjoying the parks at all? I mean, I love WDW food but I can't believe you are uploading these pics while on vacation!! Us sad folks at home appreciate it though!!

I met a friend for her birthday at Disney in May. We had dinner at Bistro on her birthday. This was the first time I had been to Bistro, but it will not be my last!!

The stairway up to Bistro de Paris

Amouse Bouce - pea soup with prosciutto - delicious!

Appetizer - escargot and frogs legs in garlic butter with strawberry (did not try the strawberry)

Picture049.jpg

Pork penderloin picatta with mushroom sauce - this was my entree and it was out of this world good

Picture051.jpg

Day Scallop entree - this was good, but the pork was much better

Picture054.jpg

Dessert sampler - 8 different desserts...what's not to like!

Thanks you too!

Morning MickeyNicki!!!!!!!
First off I have to say, again, I LOVE A PERSON WHO SHARES!:woohoo:
You are soooooo sweet to take the time to post the last few days!
Sorry you are having "weather" but so glad that you get a "do-over"
in a month!

You convinced me to return to the Grand Floridian Cafe......
My last time was in 1988 when I was there with my boys.
They were 5 and 9 at the time.
I was video-taping them with Chip and Dale at the GF character breakfast.
A man came up to me and said..."stop taping my wife"
I said....."which one is she,,,,Chip or Dale?"
He Huffed away
I followed him with my camera and who was sitting at his
table but Meryl Streep....yep.
I saw him tell her the story,,she looked at me,,,,and we just
smiled!

Thanks to you I will return to the GFC and relive wonderful memories
from when the boys were little.

You are a true sweetheart to take the time to report on your trip.
You also do a darn good job....Thank You:flower3:

One Question.
we also have ADR's for Crystal Palace Lunch......2 adults,,,,will we be
swarmed by kids and characters??? and was the food good enough?
Thanks Dear:)

Yes, thanks so much MickeyNicki for posting all the wonderful menu and food pictures! I look forward to your pictures everyday! :worship:

JAN - way cool about seeing Meryle Streep there!

Dim Sum Basket - Pork pot stickers, shrimp siu mai, cha su bao, and pork sie mai steamed on a banana leaf, soy lime dipping sauce. Shared this with DD and we both agreed that its not worth $13. Especially since they do not accept the 20% DDE card.

DSC08654.jpg

Pork Egg Rolls - chili plum dipping sauce. Very Good.

DSC08656.jpg

Crispy Honey Chicken - tempura chicken, broccoli, carrots, honey sauce. Not bad.

DSC08659.jpg

Sweet and Sour Chicken or Pork - Tempura chicken or pork, ginger, garlic, bell peppers, pineapple. DW loved it!

DSC08657.jpg

Shrimp Lo Mein - Lo Mein noodles, carrots, cabbage, green onoins, bean sprouts. VERY GOOD. This was my favorite.

I thought the Yak and Yeti was pretty good. My main concerns are: 1) They do not accept the DDE, 2) They have a counter service window connected to the restaurant that sells the same exact food at half the price.
