Disney Food Pictures...Part II

Hi Leonsmom, I am worried about this as well. I would love to go eat at 50's prime time but my little girl is very sensitive and shy. I am not sure how she would do either.princess: pirate:

I think if you gave a "heads-up" to the host when you checked in, you would be fine! We've gone a couple of times - sometimes our CM played around and other times, not so much.

Our experience at the Prime Time has been they mostly pick on the adults and teens. The servers who are really good at their "role" are also pretty good about reading people, and my little ones always loved seeing their dad get green beans with whipped cream for dessert!

This is what you do! They will totally respect you on it. But then the adults can watch what they do to others..which is just as fun IMO!

From the WIKI I thought that it was dolphin awhile ago I think it is a common misconception! Hope this helps!:goodvibes

"The Mahi-mahi (in Hawaiian), Coryphaena hippurus, also known as common dolphin-fish, dorado maverikos, or lampuki (in Maltese) are surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. They are one of only two members of the Coryphaenidae family, the other being the Pompano dolphinfish."

Actually the Dolphin-fish is not a Dolphin. Did you ever wonder why the fish on the roof of the Dolphin Resort wasn't a Dolphin? It is also a dolphin-fish.

YES! That always bugged me - wondered how Disney could not have a dolphin statue on the Dolphin resort! Thanks for educating me!

Me too!!! After a few years it was explained to me, and it still bugs me every time I see it!!!

We were eating in Olivias one night for dinner, in the back booth and above our heads was a picture of a dolphin fish and we were all like OHHHHH, that is why that trout is on top of the Dolphin hotel! The waiter gave us a long explaination on the fish after that.

So it reqally isn't a Dolphin!! I still think I'd have a hard time convincing DD I wasn't eating a beloved dolphin!!
