Hello everyone! Happy to meet you all. This is our families' second cruise with DCL. There's 5 of traveling: me, DH, DD (16), DS (14) and DS (10). We booked it specifically because of the Star Wars day. My hubby is a HUGE Star Wars fan and so are my boys. We are so excited to be going on another Disney cruise, participating in the FE and thrilled to get to experience the Star Wars day. Knowing Disney, it's gonna be a memorable vacation!!!

Hello! This is my first posting (JUST joined!), and our first cruise! It will be myself, DH, my mom, DS (8 now, 9 by then), DD (just turned 5, will be almost 6 when we sail). I am so excited! The worst part (if there is such a thing when it comes to Disney!) is that I've decided to try to keep this trip a secret from the kids...it's already killing me and I still have almost a year to go! LOL I just finished entering the 40 $50 gift cards I got from Target tonight to make our deposit. To parrot others, I am totally excited about doing the FE! My apologies about all of the exclamation points, if you can't tell I'm pretty excited. Look forward to chatting with you all and learning tips and tricks from those who have gone before.

Amazing! We are booked on the Jan 9 cruise and I'm due with my new baby girl 6/27!! We also have a son who will be 7 and LOVES Star Wars!

How exciting!!! We'll have to arrange for the babies to meet!

I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to break the news yet, but you can get some really funny ideas of how NOT to if you look for "Disney surprise fail" on Youtube! LOL I'm leaning towards some combination of scavenger hunt and puzzle/code. Although I may just tell them we're going to visit Granny (my mom) for a surprise and then give them clues along the drive. We'll technically be visiting with Granny since she's coming with us! ;-)

Hi from sunny Sydney Australia.
Myself, my sister and my 2 kids who will be 14 & 17 are travelling to Florida in December, I booked this cruise on opening day.
It will be our first Disney cruise, actually our first ever cruise for that matter.
We visited WDW in Sept 2013 and had a wonderful time, so have decided to come back over The Christmas period, yikes I know, crowded!
But we will have 14 nights, then we are doing Universal 5 nights, then this cruise and then another 4 nights at WDW before flying home, so all up around 5 weeks.
I have read about the FE groups, but not sure if we will participate, as we need room for all that shopping we are going to do.
We are not really Star War fans, oh my friend is going to be sooooo jealous, she is a big fan lol.
Anyhow it will be nice to chat to you all and I am sure I will have a few questions regarding the cruise if that's ok.

Hi all, I just signed up for this forum about 5 minutes ago. I stumbled upon it while looking for info about FE's. I had never heard of those either. Planning this cruise for myself, dh, ds 7, ds 5 and our friends that are also going. This will be my 2nd Disney cruise. Our first was on the Fantasy in 2012. What a great place to talk to others going on the same cruise.
