"Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 6004 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 9A Location: Forward
Sail Date: 06/23/12
Notes: view of ocean to left and front of ship. you get a little angled area as you are in a corner. Only because of the tropical depression "Debbie" did we get a little bit of wave action and could hear clunking sound every once in a while. The angled area makes the room bigger than normal. Very quiet location and not that far to the forward elevators."
These are the frontal rooms that are larger than normal, some boarding on huge. They do lack some features, such as a divider curtain IIRC. I don't believe any have murhy's. Only ceiling pulldowns. Most do have views through the porthole over the bow which is unique. The porthole is on a slanted wall though. Many have asked if the slanted wall will interfere with a tall adult. I have never heard it does, even though the photos would imply otherwise.
Thanks for the report on the room. I am new to this site, so getting my ears wet. I stayed up until 2 am reading post and finding my way around. We are just glad to be going on a Disney cruise. Both my wife and I were very poor growing up and only went to Disney once in our first 20 years of life. We really love Disney and love to cruise with them.
We cruise a lot and have never been on the front of a ship. This room looks pretty nice from the sample pictures we have seen. One report on another site said the room was a little larger? Just thought I would ask the experts here.
