Hi Donna I signed up quite awhile ago but didn't get the list of questions.

Hi!! I haven't sent he list of questions out yet. I'm waiting til mid August to send so I can do it all at once to those on the list. For easier tracking. Then after the I will send you your secret Mickey list to shop for

Also, I have moved a couple of participants around as I have not heard from one for a while (lol - I think most of you know who I am talking about - I am still hoping they are still with us and just too busy to respond right now)

Another option is to edit one of the posts on the first page so it is easier to find......I have not gone back and checked to see who was the first poster. We often stick need to know info on page one - like the list 0r info on Secret Mickey or the Dis Meet....etc....

Cool. My hubby is not sailing with me, but when he did (Fantasy last year) he brought his own wetsuit, regulator, snorkel, etc., and did the advanced dives 3 days in a row - Costa Maya, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Hated Costa Maya but loved the other two. The downside was that he was too exhausted each evening to hit the clubs aboard AT ALL with me. I may as well have been solo, as I am this time. Oh, well. So much for my escort!

I will be at Serenity probably hiding out in my cabana.

If there is a meet the first day that is NOT just for FE participants (which I am not), then I would attend. If not, I'll probably be easy to spot at the Castaway Club reception on Sunday!

We dive like your hubby - use our own equipment. And yes, it would also be advanced dives each day and hence the downside is that you are tired and must also get sleep each night and as fun as that is, you miss the fun of the ship. So we are thinking that we need to book a live-aboard for the diving and head to the clubs at night on the ship.....

As for the meet the first day, it is open to all Dis posters, not just those for the FE. Like you we are not FE participants. It is fun but we opted not to join in the fun this year. I do like the way it is organized for this cruise into groups. And the graphics are very chic.

When and where is that first day meet?

And yes - I absolutely understand the total concentration on the diving. My hubby's biggest problem was he was fighting off a cold that was trying to get him down, and the dives were three days in a row so he had no in-between recovery time, but he had no problem diving in spite of not feeling well (I would not have gone in that condition). It just kicked in each evening. We were Cat. T and fortunately for him, Kemisha of the Concierge team prepared a special hot tea concoction each morning and night to make him feel better. My hubby pretty much spent all his time in the Concierge area except for dinner and his diving, and didn't spend much time at our CC cabana except for an occasional cold beer and to use the shower - lol. But at least I succeeded in finally getting him on a Disney cruise.

So going solo (5A this time) is fine. The only thing that may bother me is that I tend to have breakfast and lunch at Royal Court most days, and I KNOW I will continue to be asked, "Is your husband joining you?" It gets old. Maybe I should remove my wedding ring . . or switch it to the other hand? It probably wouldn't help.

Reading all the comments about all the luckies getting to book everything. And now I'm curious and nervous. First time cruiser here, so we have to wait until the end of August, I believe before we can start booking. But my question is in order to book port excursions and brunch, etc. Do we need passport info? I have to renew mine and get passports for the kids and am worried we won't have the numbers in time for the day we can start booking. :/

If this is your very first Disney cruise, then if you have paid in full by 75 days before the cruise, you will be able to log in at Midnight EST (on that 75th day prior), and do Palo ressies, excursions etc. I have found that the only thing tied to the Online Check-In which is where you do your Passport info, is the PAT (Port Arrival Time) which gives you a time when you can show up at the Port. Generally, the earlier your PAT, the lower your boarding group number, and the earlier you can get on the ship. I thought that I heard that they don't really care about PAT after around Noon, because they have already started boarding the ship by then, and you can nearly just show up at port and walk aboard after registering.

For Silver's it's 90 days out, so on Midnight August 10th EST, I'll be able to get on and do my things. Which actually translates to 11 PM on Aug 9th for me in Wisconsin. I have a second countdown timer set to that online window.

Lol I was away this weekend ( like I mentioned on Friday ) so while I could respond to messages etc on my phone, I didn't have my computer in front of me to update the FE list.
