Disney Fantasy Concierge Rooms with kids by Adult Pool

Looking at 11018 and 11020 on the Fantasy, which look to be almost IN the adult pool. :crazy2: Wondering if we're going to get dirty looks and nasty comments if we walk through there with kids to get to the other pools, Cabanas, etc. or if we'll have to take the elevator down, walk down the hallway, and take the elevator back up. Prefer not to have any issues on my vacation. Wondering what other's experiences have been.

We often stay on deck 10 right under the spa. We have two teens and always walk up the stairs and through the adult area. No one has ever said anything or given us looks (that we noticed anyway). As long as you are walking through and not stopping to hang out, it's not a big deal.

It's an overlook by Disney. I always reminded my kid that this area is a quiet zone. No issues passing through.

My son always goes through the adult section to get to the lounge or our suite. It has never been a problem. As long as you are just passing though and not making a ruckus, you should be fine.

We walk through the adult area with our kids all cruise long and haven't had any issues.

I did have one horrible experience on our first cruise where our room was far forward and we didn't know the layout, so I took the forward elevator up with my littlest in a stroller and two older kids. We started to walk quietly around the outskirts of the pool to get to the family area, and a belligerent (likely drunk) man started following me and yelling and cursing at me and my kids. A nice CM very quickly swooped in to explain to the man that children are allowed to walk through, just not use the facilities, and the CM escorted us through and chatted with my kids to keep them from being too scared.

For some reason, disney cruises seem to attract more "the world revolves around me" type people than other vacations we've been on. I think because they are so expensive, people feel entitled. We still enjoy it, but have to roll our eyes at the the people who throw your stuff off a lounger onto the wet pool deck when you pop over to the restroom, or push you out of the way to get on the elevator, or save an entire row for their family in the WDW theater. In other words, there are going to be jerks everywhere, so I wouldn't let that deter your from passing through the adult area.

Agree with other poster here that when we have stayed in the suites on the dream class ships there has never been an issue for us just passing through the adult areas. We are always quiet, respectful of the space and keep moving And has never been an problem.

Adding that we have even went through the adult areas on 13 to access the concierge sun deck. The forward elevators empty into the adult area so if you are going to or from them to the sun deck you will pass through. Also if you are making your way to the suite whirlpool on the sundeck after you are wet from one of the other pools or funnel puddle (for us it is usually after the Aqua-Duck), it makes sense to stay outside and use deck 13.

We spend most afternoons at the adult pool and Cove Bar and have seen kids walk through with parents, and even some older kids (tweens/teens) on their own, plenty of times. It's never been a problem for me and I've never seen anyone cause an issue with them.

Unfortunately those kind of people are everywhere. When I went on Norwegian, there were people like that too. Esp. the ones staying in "The Haven" which is their concierge area

This really is a non issue. As an adult sitting in the adult pool area it is quite common to see families walking through. Not a big deal to me or others that I have seen. The problems occur when kids sit down or try to climb into the pool most likely not knowing that it is an adult only area.

It does irk me when I see whole families in Cove Cafe. That is strictly 18 and older area and many times I have parents with kids in there.
