Disney Fantasy - 7 night - Western Caribbean - April 30, 2016

I know it's too late to get into one of the groups, but I figured I would give info in case anyone wants to stop by. I also thought maybe on one of the days at sea, probably the first, have a get together. We just did our sons make a wish cruise in October and his biggest thing was not knowing any kids. As parents we ran around trying to meet parents with kids the same age so we didn't have to ride the aqueduct with him every time on two rider days. So I thought maybe the adult bar by the adult pool. The only reason I thought this was its small and not usually crowded. So we can sit down and make a silly sign. Like raise your hand when you sit. That would clue other cruisers into you are part of the group. It's also pretty lax on if something happens the kids can run in and check in. If that doesn't work for most we can do it at a time by the middle pool somewhere. So my idea would be 3pm by the bar at the adult pool on the second day of the cruise. First day at sea. Sit down at the bar. After you order a drink raise your hand, or do Mickey ears with your hands over your head quickly. Depends on how silly you want to be. Or we can tell the bartender we are fish extenders and if anyone asked tell them where the group is. Just an idea to be a little fun and meet people.
So 4 people traveling in our group. Jenn 39, myself John 38, Joanne 65 John jr 11
Room number 9170 for myself and jenn and 9174 for John junior and grandma Joanne.
We live in Florida so we won't be doing anything the day before
I know were to late for the gift drops, but maybe just a meet and greet and see how everyone hits it off. Maybe a new tradition. Also you might meet some people with common interest. If you have any ideas instead of the one I said throw them out there. It's the only thing that came to mind. We camp a lot at fort wilderness and it's always an experience of meeting new people. Cruisers are kind of the same. When we go camping they do grand gatherings a lot where everyone meets up. I thought maybe the same thing here

That's a great idea. Thank you.
My daughter is 11, Katelyn & our son is 8, Caleb. They love meeting kids and hanging out. I think 3pm the 2nd day would work wonderful :)

Perfect. That's 1. And the ages are perfect. I will see you at 3. I figure this time is early enough for the people going to the early seating also. It's the bar that sits partially in the pool.

This would be a great time for our FE group to all meet up & get to say "hello".
All the kids can meet & Im sure they will be wide open all over the place! We are all so excited!!

However, we will most likely tell the bar tender we are with the FE group ;P

What is the 2 rider day on the aquaduck?
Also those of us that joined the social media group are meeting at 3:15 the first day in the Vista Cafe in deck 4.

I believe they start allowing parking around 10am, with the building itself opening 10:30ish for check-in. Actual boarding won't begin until 11:45-12, I believe.

Does anyone know the earliest boarding reservation time? I'll be driving through the night from Virginia Beach and am leaving plenty of contingency time. My boarding time is 1:30 but I plan to hit Port Canaveral around 9:15 with no trouble. I've already looked around to see what we can do to kill a few hours, but wanted to know what time I could start trying to get on board.

Thanks!

Did you get that? The 1st day were meeting. I missed that one. :/
See you then!

I like this idea! My daughter is 12, Dylan my son is 7,Deven. I enjoy any excuse to sit at a pool bar and make Mickey ears at strangers. 3pm, first sea day=second cruise day, pool bar at the adult pool. I'm in!

The two rider aqua duck days come around every so often. When we were on our last cruise a couple days you could only ride if you had two people. They said it was because of the winds. So I don't know if it was because the ship was moving to fast or what. However, that made mom and dad have to take turns all day riding. Of course we loved it at first, but after 3 hours we just wanted to relax and he kept going and going. We were wishing he had a friend to ride with.
That's cool about the vista lounge also. Is there a certain place on social media that you look or is it a closed group.

Just want to thank Briana for organizing the FE groups and for everyone that gave to my family whether part of the FE or via a random pixie dust effort. This was our first time doing the FE so we look forward to participating in more and got some really great ideas from you smart cookies :thanks:
