The Disney Family Night Dinner event will start June 30, just in time for summer crowds at Disney World. ” This playful, family-style dining bundle includes a take-out shareable meal, sweet treats, and an original card-type game inspired by some of your favorite Disney friends for your family and friends to enjoy.”

The dinner meal kit is fully prepared and available through mobile order at two Disney World Resort locations: Centertown Market at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. These quick-service meal restaurants will have your order ready to go. Simply choose beverages to match and be on your way. You don’t even have to be staying at the Resort

Seeing that menu and the way it's done, I gotta think Carribean's is the better summer option b/c what they got served at Grad Floridian was a dairy bomb and a half. Now, having been to Aldi's, I know dairy's cheap now, as is all the cheap carbs (which is the other part of the menu), so they can load that up and serve you a 3lb lasagna. But, even without allergies, I can't imagine how that kinda meal is gonna sit on adult stomachs after 90 degree days (now, kids can eat anything and don't have the whole "starting to have issues with lactose" that many adults get, so they'd love this all the time, but parents gotta eat, too:)) - dairy as the main focus on both entrees and the entire dessert is rough...and with the salad seeming like the "smallest" part, and that's the only non-dairy part (since you're gonna butter your bread, too)...phew...

actually looks pretty interesting... will be at the grand for a couple days at the end of July, maybe we will give it a shot!

The one at the GF is $90. OUCH. I know that's cheaper than a TS for 4 but it really doesn't look like THAT much food. And it's got the Disney pizza. :worried:

ETA: I read the review posted above and maybe we'll try it. :confused3

Does anyone know how parking will work for this? I LOVE this idea and very much want us to do it on our upcoming trip, but we are doing a split-stay and our nights at the VGF have dining reservations I'm not willing to give up. So that leaves us with only our SSR nights as an option, but will they let us drive in to VGF since this is a quick service location?

Was pretty jazzed to see this offering! Now DH and I can try the Caribbean inspired food (honeymoon flashbacks) and grab our kids something they might like from QS pretty easily!

Anyone can confirm if these are still being offered?? I don't see it on the mobile order choices anymore!
