Disney Family Christmas 12/17-12/30 Pixie Dust attacked!! PICS ADDED *FINISHED!*

great trip report...sounds like a great family time in spite of the illness Your great attitude is so refreshing and you seem to handle the tough parts so well...We just spent 5 days at Disneyland with lots of family and I can relate...we have waited 2 yrs to finally be able to go with my daughter's two cousins because of sticky divorce issues...it's hard, but life goes on...and there are always more trips to plan! thanx for sharing!

Great report! Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. Our trips actually overlapped, and I know for sure that we also were in the Magic Kingdom on the 22nd, that was Shelby's birthday and she broke out her Christmas Belle costume from Halloween for the occasion. It's hard when you get sick on vacation, but it sounds like you had a great time anyway! The Boardwalk is a beautiful resort, what did your kids think of the pool?

Thanks for posting your reports. Such a shame that some of the magic was ruined by the sickness but it sounds like you made the best fo a bad job and soldiered on. Such a shame about your nephew - I certainly hope that his mother doesn't continue to be so awkward about him seeing his Dad.

great report, thanks for sharing your trip with us! and so sorry everyone got ill, that really puts a damper on things, but still sounds like a great trip none the less!

Great report! I'm sorry so many of you were sick, but your spirit was unflagging! :)

I thoroughly enjoyed your report! You left nothing, not even the
yaks, get in the way of that disney magic. I kept wondering through
the report if the bug would come your way. Those things seem to spread
like wildfire. You deserve to have the rest of 2006 healthy. Hope your next
trip will be filled with pixie dust. What a wonderful addiction to have...returning again and again to the world! :flower:

Nice trip report, thanks for sharing, but do you think someone got food poisoning and then the germ just passed around.

I bet if you guys won't have the yaks for a very long time.

I really enjoyed reading about your trip so thank you for sharing. This year I announced, after standing in my kitchen and cooking all Christmas long, that we would be going away for Christmas next year. My husband is like 'yeah right'. I've thought about spending the holiday at Disney...we were there the first week in December and I don't think I could have handled a bigger crowd than what we had....anyhow, your report has made me want to start planning a Christmas trip....without the yaks of course! It sounds like you are very good at maneuvering around WDW and that you had a great time just being together and it is great you can get your family (well almost all of your family) together to do that! Here's to a healthy 2006!

Awesome trip report! It's amazing to hear that you rode the Kali Rapids 4 times in a row during THE busy Christmas season! Sorry about the yakking though, but I do think that it's a case of food poisoning! But I'm glad your family had a wonderful time nevertheless! Happy New Years!
