Disney Every Day - Update 10/21 – 1, 2, 3! We’re Leaving for Orlando Tomorrow!

Wow!!! A new home. You do like to shake things up a bit, don't you? I'm happy for you --- a bigger place! Awesome! It's fortunate you can still do public transportation. I can't here. There's like a little community bus system, but there's not many stops. It's so much easier to take the car. You will have to show us pictures. I would love to see the deck and garden area! That would be great if your telecommuting gets approved! Sometimes I wish I could do that! Yes, we need to hear about Disney!!! :thumbsup2

A new home, that's so exciting! :goodvibes

I like the idea of telecommuting, I hope that works out! :thumbsup2

I completely understand about being behind with the updates- I keep meaning to do it but just not getting around to it...

Thanks, Ann! It’s funny that I used to hate public transportation so much, but now it is a MUST for me :confused3 The kids and I actually looked at a house in the country – the kids loved it but I had to turn it down because there was no bus system and no high speed internet! :lmao: I have my priorities in order! It was too bad, though, because it was on an acre of land. I could’ve gotten a chicken! Oh well. Keep your fingers crossed for the telecommuting! I’ll try to take some pictures of the house on Saturday. I’ll at least get some of the outside. The inside is a wreck with all of the boxes! Maybe I’ll shove a few to the side so you can get an idea of what the inside of the house looks like. Disney is coming soon! I am reworking my park days :goodvibes

Thanks, Hope! I’m so excited about our new place :yay: I am sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting to see if I can get approved for telecommuting. The majority of my work is done via email and I only have one meeting set in stone once a week, so I really think telecommuting two or three days a week is feasible :thumbsup2 I want to get an update done by tomorrow. Isn’t it annoying how real life gets in the way of posting? :rolleyes1

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out! And yes, I'm finding that real life is quite annoying right now and interrupting all of my fun! :rolleyes1

I just booked our room for our Boston trip in November! We’re staying in the same area as last time, but we are staying in a different Marriott. When I finally went to book today, the Marriott where we stayed in March was sold out! :sad1: I should have booked it weeks ago, but I was not happy with the price, so I guess it all worked out in the end :thumbsup2 This hotel is a little cheaper than the other one, but not by much. I checked the reviews and everything was favorable, so I hope we will have a nice stay there.

I am considering driving now, for two reasons. Coy is feeling lukewarm about taking classes at MIT this year. One day he is excited about it and the next he has no interest in it at all. I don’t want to buy plane tickets while he is still flip-flopping about going. We’ll see how he feels when he has to register for classes in a few days. He wants to go to Boston just to visit (and so do True and I) but I’m not going to Boston in November for no reason :lmao: You know how I feel about the cold! If he’s not taking classes, then this trip can wait until the summer! :rotfl: The other reason I might drive is because this hotel doesn’t have a shuttle to MIT! Ugh! So, instead of renting a car or getting a cab, it might be easier to just drive. Plus, it’ll save me $1000 since I won’t have to get flights. Yes, I’ll have to get gas and the time to get there will be much MUCH longer, but the kids and I haven’t done a road trip in a while. I don’t really know. I might change my mind and book flights. I really have no idea  I feel so unprepared for this trip! At least the room is booked and I know of two places where I want to go out to eat.

Maybe I should just wing it! That was what we did for our trip there back in March and we had a good time. I looked up a few things that I wanted us to experience and a few places where we could go out to eat. We only did a couple of those things and spent the rest of the time just exploring. I think that I am so in the mindset that everything has to be planned out because I always have a specific plan when we have little outings – and you KNOW how much I plan for our Disney trips :rotfl2: - so I feel a little uneasy when I don’t have a plan in place. Oh my gosh, I’m a control freak! :scared1: Yeah, we already knew that, right? :lmao: So I really hope that we do still go because it’ll be fun to wander around Harvard Square again, discover some new shops and restaurants, walk Freedom Trail, maybe take a Duck Tour… Oops! It sounds like I am planning again!

You are getting ahead of me here! I keep reading your PTR when I'm out and about on my phone and cannot respond, then I forget to come respond when I'm back home!

NEW HOUSE!!! WOOT! You must take pictures. It's a requirement. Yup. I won't stop bugging you until you take them, so get to it! ;)

I think driving to Boston is a good idea! Think of all the money you will save (for Disney, naturally!) :p

Now go take those pics! :hyper:

Driving to Boston sounds like a good idea to me! I'm sure the hotel will be great- at least it's the same chain so that should keep any surprises to a minimum. :thumbsup2

As for winging it- I say go for it if you can! I had a short list of things to do and places to eat for our beach trip and it worked out pretty well. Kya did ask me at one point when we were going to do something and I told her I wasn't sure, but we'd do it one afternoon that week. She looked at me like I was nuts and said, "That's weird, Mom- you always know what we're doing every day of vacation way in advance!" :lmao:

I think that saving money by driving to Boston is a good idea too! I took some pictures over the weekend, but I was trying all morning to get them uploaded to Flickr. It was really weird and annoying! Hopefully, pictures will be coming soon!

Yeah, I don’t really like surprises on vacation, so I think it will be good to stay at the same hotel chain. What Kya said was hilarious! :rotfl: I think it would be nice just to have a list of activities to choose from rather than to have everything planned out. After all, I hope to be back in Boston every six months or so for these MIT classes, so missing something on a trip shouldn’t be that big of a deal. I’ll save all of my planning energy for Disney :goodvibes

So, guys, Flickr isn’t playing nice with me today. I was stuck on 22% uploaded for the longest time and it ended up draining the battery on my phone! :headache: I’m hoping to have the pictures ready to go by tonight when I get home. If not, I’ll have to post them tomorrow. In the meantime, I thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures of my new nephew. Oh, you didn’t know I was an aunt? He came unexpectedly on my sister’s birthday and he is just the cutest, sweetest thing! Introducing, my nephew:

BRUNO!!!

He is a boxer and my sister’s boyfriend got him for her on her birthday. It was funny because Ashley wanted a designer dog like a Cockerpoo or something else very cutesy, but her boyfriend always had Boxers in the family, so that’s what he got her. I love Boxers, so I was excited for Ash when she showed me a picture of him. She was a little disappointed that she didn’t get the dog she wanted, though. She got him when he was eight weeks or so, so he was a little puppy at the time. Bruno grew on her pretty much within a few hours and she wasn’t thinking about any other dog! He is part of the family! My kids love him to pieces, too. They both want different types of dogs, but Bruno made them want to get a Boxer too. Now that we have a bigger back yard, I think that is a possibility. In any case, the kids and I met Bruno back in August, I think. The kids haven’t stopped talking about him ever since. We went over to my sisters’ house yesterday and Bruno had grown so much! The kids were shocked! :lmao: They have never had a dog, so they didn’t know how fast puppies grew. Bruno was jumping all over the kids because he was so excited to see them again. I had to show them how to get him to stop jumping and to get him to sit. After that, he played nicely with the kids. They had a blast and probably took him on four walks when we were there! I think they took him to the dog park twice – and we were only at my sisters’ for about seven hours! Well, Bruno has a lot of energy, but they wore him out! I think he looks like a little sad puppy in this pic, but he was just exhausted:

Tired puppy:

The kids were pretty worn out by the end of the day, too! I really hope to get a dog for the kids within the next year. I have been saying I was going to get them a dog for the past few years, but it never worked out. It was either no money or no time – or a combination of both. Well, Ashley’s boyfriend highly recommends the breeder where he got Bruno, so I may ask him for the number when I am ready. There is also a Boxer Rescue in the area where I could go. I’ll probably ask Ash’s boyfriend to go with us when we are able to get a dog since he knows the breed so well.

Speaking of boyfriends, I got to spend a lot of time with Marissa’s boyfriend yesterday, too. We have talked briefly here and there, but this was the first time we had a long conversation. I can say now that I really do like him and I think he is pretty cool! That was the impression I got from him before, but I had to get to know him a little bit better before I gave my official stamp of approval. Well, there are actually a FEW stamps that the significant others of my siblings have to get from me, but he has earned the first one. Let’s see if he can get the other nine  While Marissa and I were talking, the subject of Kyle’s new girlfriend came up again! We really want to meet her! I was thinking of inviting his girlfriend over for Thanksgiving. He used to bring that other girl over for Thanksgiving and other family gatherings, so I think it is about time that he brings the new girl. This is my year to have my kids for Thanksgiving, so I think it would be nice for the whole family to be there – including girlfriends and boyfriends! I should have my messy house in order by then! :lmao:

So, stay tuned for the house pics later today or tomorrow. I am FINALLY about to post a quick update on WDW plans right now! Thanks for hanging in there with me!

I’ve been promising you guys a WDW update. I have been slacking! Sorry about that! This isn’t much of an update, but I have been working on my park days again. As of right now, the plan is to go to UO on the first three days of our trip and then to go to WDW for the rest of the trip. I’m still optimistic about my sisters coming, so I will need to fit all four Disney parks into three or four days. FYI, I keep sneaking in vacation talk when I text Kyle. Recently, I said it would be nice for us all to take a family vacation next year. He wrote back, “Haha true” so I am going to take that as a yes! Seriously, though, I hope we can turn this into a whole-family vacay! If not, I’ll still be happy to go with just my kids :goodvibes So, since I want to be sure that my sisters can make it to each park, I revised my plan. I’ll start with Saturday since we already know what we are doing Wednesday through Friday:

Saturday, August 24th – MK and maybe HS in the evening
Sunday, August 25th – AK and maybe EP in the evening
Monday, August 26th – EP
Tuesday, August 27th – HS (possible departure day for my sisters, but hopefully they will still be there)
Wednesday, August 28th – MK (probable departure day for my sisters)
Thursday, August 29th – EP
Friday, August 30th – OFF day or Water Park day
Saturday, August 31st – AK and probably EP in the evening
Sunday, September 1st – MK and maybe HS in the evening
Monday, September 2nd – Departure day

So, a few changes. As you can see, I don’t have a Sea World day in there now. I still kinda want to take the kids and maybe I will find a way to squeeze it in, but since we will be spending three days in UO, I don’t want to take another park day away from WDW. Yeah, we’re going to each park multiple times, but that is what works best for us so that we can each experience everything we want.

This will also change up my ADR plans quite a bit. Now, I will have to make sure that we can go to some really memorable restaurants and character meals when my sisters will be with us.

Saturday – Crystal Palace before-park-opening ADR/50’s Prime Time for dinner
Sunday – Tusker House before-park-opening ADR/Garden Grill for dinner
Monday – Akershus before-park-opening ADR

I’m not sure about dinner on Monday, but I am leaning toward going to ‘Ohana just because I think it would be cool to watch Wishes from there. At the same time, if Monday night is their last night there, we might just want to stay at a park and eat a counter service meal. The other thing I am realizing as I type all of this out it that it might be a bit much to have two table service meals a day because it will take away park time. I mean, it might work out OK because the breakfast meals will all be before-park-opening ADRs. I really don’t know. We are a family who loves to eat and we all love to try different restaurants, so maybe having two sit-down meals a day will be fine. It’ll be easier to work all of this out if they leave on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. So, as you can see, I have a LOT of work to do on these plans. First, I have to confirm that my sisters really are coming. I think they will since I had to cancel our vacation earlier this year. Second, I have to see how long they can stay so I can see if these park days will really work out. Third, I have to make sure we are getting a variety of restaurants packed in to the few days they will have at WDW. I think I will have to ask Coy to make another PowerPoint presentation for them to let them know the options. I think I should ask him to make one for Kyle too, so that I can get him interested in going on the trip with us! Maybe that is what I can work on and what I can post about since I really can’t plan too much more until January! :lmao:

Well, aren't you the busy little beaver.....I'm thinking MAYBE, JUST MAYBE we will meet in 2013. This is how my days are shaping up so far:

08/24 Sat -- HS
08/25 Sun -- EPCOT
08/26 Mon -- OFF SITE DAY
08/27 Tue -- MK
08/28 Wed --CHOICE

Of course they are not set in stone, but I think we can make it work! :yay:

OMG I just love Bruno. What a big baby!! He's so adorable! and Kyle MUST bring that new girlfriend around as she hasn't gotten Erin approval yet! I'm glad you like Marissa's bf. It's so much easier when the family approves.

Of course I think driving to Boston is a great idea!! How long would it take you?

Oh, good! It looks like we'll be in the same parks on Monday and Tuesday! :goodvibes We'll definitely have to work something out!

Bruno is awesome! He's so playful and sweet! The kids want him to come over for a sleepover!

Yes, Kyle must bring the little lady over soon! He doesn't talk about her much, but she seems down to earth from what he's told me. I need to see for myself, though ;) I'm glad Marissa's bf really is as nice as I thought. He's in school, he has a job, he likes the same football team I do (Hail to the Redskins!) so he has a lot going for him! Yes, it is easier when I approve... I mean, when the family approves :rotfl:

The Boston road trip is looking better and better. It should take a little over seven hours. That's not too bad because I used to drive to Ohio in six hours. I'm budgeting eight or nine hours because of meal and bathroom breaks, so that still isn't a bad ride.

Hi, Guys! It has been crazy busy at work! My boss was on travel all week, and we are a two person department, so that meant that any issues that came in would have to be handled by me. Don’t get me wrong, I love it! I just am not used to being this busy at this job! I am used to having jobs where I can slack off all day  This is definitely NOT that type of job! It’s fun though. So, now that I have got a little break, I need to share the pics of my house with you! I’m warning you now that this will be two posts consisting of about 40 pictures, so if you don’t want to look at all of that, you can skip these posts! You won’t hurt my feelings. Not much, anyway :lmao: Also, some of these pictures were taken ABOVE my messy rooms, so you will be looking at a few ceilings! :rotfl: I can’t have you seeing my boxes and stuff laying out all over the place! I can’t wait to get everything in order. It’s just been little by little so far, but I hope to get a lot done over the weekend. Well, I will try to get some stuff done on Sunday because we have big plans on Saturday and I want to be able to share the fun with you guys! It has a little to do with Disney and a lot to do with Halloween! Well, I don’t want to get you guys all excited for nothing, so I’ll just tell you: we’re decorating for Halloween this weekend! You all were probably like, “Duh! Halloween is in a few days!” Yes, I know, but I am all excited because I get to decorate with my kids. This was supposed to be their dad’s weekend with them, but he can’t pick them up for some reason  So they get to stay home with me! Whoop whoop! It is also their dad’s turn to have them for Halloween, but he didn’t want to come out to my house on a weekday. Whatever, dude. I’m glad you aren’t coming! Haha! The bad thing is that the kids weren’t even disappointed about this weekend or Halloween. It does make me sad sometimes that they don’t have a great relationship with their dad. I want them to be excited about seeing him and spending time with him, but they just aren’t. I guess there is only so much disappointment a kid can take before they say, “Enough is enough,” and go on about their lives. Wow. That was depressing! Moving on… I’m just happy that we have a beautiful house to decorate this weekend. So let’s get the show on the road, shall we?

This is my house!

I absolutely LOVE it! It is an end unit town house and I have always wanted one! All of the other houses I have rented have been interior units, which are fine, but end units seem a little more private to me. Plus, they usually have a bigger back yard. But we’ll get to that in a minute! I love that there is a garage. I haven’t ever had a garage! I also love the little hedge in front (wait until you see how we decorate that for Halloween!), the cool steps leading to the front door, and I love the bay window! Most of my houses have had bay windows and I think it is a must for me. One of the other houses that I looked at didn’t have a bay window and I really felt like it was missing something. Actually, the first time I saw this house from the outside, I thought to myself, “This is the one,”. I actually pictured the steps decorated with pumpkins and a leaf garland. Oh man! I don’t have a leaf garland! I’m going to have to see if I can find one! The point is, this house spoke to me and I was so happy that I was able to rent it!

Wanna see my garage? Here it is:

The thing propped up on the wall is a replacement French door for my deck. The one that is there currently is a little beat up. The landlord is supposed to install it soon. There is also a fridge in there. I was planning on keeping it, but I need to move it into the laundry room. It makes it too difficult to park in there with the fridge taking up space. It is possible, but I keep worrying that I am going to side swipe the car! LOL!!! I need the garage to be empty in order to feel comfortable parking in there. Maybe it is just my weirdness. I don’t know. Maybe it is because I have never had a garage before?

Here’s the little storage area below the front door:

And here’s Coy! Wave for the camera, Coy!

Here is the tiny porch area at the top of the steps:

Can I call that a porch? I guess not. A stoop? I always picture cities when people use the word “stoop”. I also picture that show Hey Arnold and that scene where the kids start yelling, “Stoop Kid’s not on the stoop! Stoop Kid’s not on the stoop!” Haha! OK, maybe I am the only one that remembers Hey Arnold.

Next up is a weed:

My mom said it was a weed, anyway. I think she said it was called Rabbit’s Ears? I like the way it looks, weed or not. I also wanted to show you a little detail of the bricks. I just LOVE the brick color!

Up next: The back yard! Here’s the door through the fence:

Super interesting, right? LOL! Here is that door, but opened this time:

You can see that little plot we have for a small garden. It is in the left hand corner of the yard. Here’s some clover, just because I like clover:

Here’s a better view of the back yard:

It really is big and it is twice the size of our last yard. We never hung out back there in our old yard. It probably had a lot to do with the yard being so shady, too, This yard gets lots and lots of sunlight, as you can tell!

Here’s the door to the basement:

You can see that the landlord put gravel down so that we could put a grill out there or maybe a fire pit. I had a fire pit at my last house (left by the previous tenants) but I never used it. We did grill, though. I hope to get my brother to grill up his infamous steaks out there some day before it gets too cold!

Looking up, you’ll see my deck:

I wanted to give you guys a sense of how big it is. It is significantly bigger than my previous deck! Here’s another view:

I like that the landlord did a little pattern here:

OK, so, if you go inside my house, this is the view to the back yard from the basement:

I kinda think that door needs to be replaced, too, but it’s not that big of a deal. Most people will be going to the basement to either grill or watch TV, so I don’t think that they will care that the door is a little worn.

This is a diagonal view of the basement:

Fireplace! I totally forgot there was a fireplace there until I did the walk-through before move in! We saw so many houses that little details started to slip my mind. I’m excited about decorating the fireplace for Christmas. I wish that there was a fireplace in the living room upstairs, but we can’t have it all, can we? Not until I buy my own place, anyway!

Here’s my little True posing:

I had her stand there to show you the strange little cubby hole in the basement. I am not sure what I am going to do with it. I’m thinking of either putting a bookshelf there for our videos and video games (actual books will be going on the bookshelves upstairs) or I will turn it into a little reading nook with floating bookshelves above a beanbag chair or something. I don’t know. We’ll see.

Counterclockwise, these are the doors to more storage, the garage and our laundry room:

See that gross brown stain by the laundry room door? That happened a couple of days after we moved in. The AC unit was leaking and water got onto the carpet! I’m guessing the carpet in the basement wasn’t cleaned that well (the carpet in the rest of the house was replaced, the basement carpet was cleaned) because I was shocked to see a stain like that from water. The landlord hasn’t seen it yet (she sent out a person to repair the AC unit) so she might decide to replace the carpet once she does. It the very least, it needs another deep cleaning.

This is the laundry room:

The landlord is having someone move the fridge in there if I decide to keep it, but I was thinking about getting a freezer instead. I don’t really need an extra fridge when we are right below the kitchen. A freezer would be nice because I could store more food in there.

Another picture of the fireplace, just because I love it…

… and because I didn’t want the last picture that I left you with on this post to be of an unfinished laundry room! Haha! More pics in the next post!

So, youve seen the exterior of our house and our basement. Lets go upstairs now! This is the front door, from the inside:

I love all of the light! The panels on the sides of the doors let in light as well as the pretty window above the door! My mom even noticed that the window mimics the shape of the mirror in the half bath. Oh, I didnt take a picture of that! Well, its just a bathroom with a cool mirror LOL!

This is a view coming from the front door and up into the first floor:

To the side of the shot that you cant see, theres a coat closet. As you look up the stairs, theres the door to the half bath and a door to a little pantry.

Here is the kitchen:

Yes, the appliances are mismatched, but I dont even care because my fridge is stainless steel! I love it! Yeah, I wish the oven was too, but it is black, so it kinda just blends in. My dishwasher is stainless steel, too, so it blends nicely. I think I forgot to take a picture of the dishwasher and counter area! There must have been a mess on it. Yup. I remember now. The coffee pot, a bunch of keys, some mail and some more stuff were on that counter LOL!!! No pics of that! Sorry! Just picture a dishwasher with a counter above that and a sink next to that. Heres a shot of a bit more of the kitchen:

See how the bay window adds so much space to the kitchen? A few days ago, I put my dining room table in that spot. Oh, I took the leaf out! I should mention that! LOL! It fits well in there, but I need to replace it because the table is a more country style and I think the kitchen should be more modern because of the appliances.

Next is my favorite part of the kitchen, the interior window:

LOVE IT!!! You can probably tell that it is to the left of the bay window and next to the front steps, so there is TONS of light coming through. We dont have to turn on any lights in the house until it starts to get really dark outside. Can you tell I love the natural light? Well, if you couldnt tell, I LOVE IT! (Oh, and you can kind of get a peek at the hall closet in that pic, too).

For this next picture, I stood in the living room so that you could see into the dining room. So this is the dining room with a pass-through to the kitchen:

See the weird blue streaks that are on the wall below the pass-through? Well, they werent there when we moved in. They came off with a Magic Eraser, but then they showed up again the next day! What the heck? Well, I figured out that they came from the kids jeans! When they would sit at the stools to eat, their knees would rub against the wall and create a blue streak! So, no more sitting on the bar stools if we are wearing dark jeans! Haha!

OK, this is one of those pictures where I wanted to show you the living room, but there was too much junk in there, so I aimed for the chandelier instead! LOL:

So you can see the stairs going upstairs, one of the columns of the dining room, and the blinds over the door leading to the deck. Let me make it up to you. Heres a slightly better picture of the living and dining rooms:

You can kinda get a sense of where things are in that pic. Oh, and I should mention that there is a step down into the living room. Ill have to take more pics once the house is in order! Lets get out of the living room and go out onto the deck:

Thats the door that is getting replaced. Here is the other side of the deck:

This is the view from our deck:

A picture to give an idea of the size of the deck:

Pretty tree:

More pretty trees:

An aerial view of the soon-to-be garden:

Aerial view of the gravel patch:

OK, you know how I said that I love natural light? Well, check out our skylight!:

That is the view of the skylight from the staircase. It lets light into the upstairs hallway and into the bedrooms. This part is kind of hard to explain, but there are rectangular cut-outs in the upper part of the bedroom walls. Heres mine:

Actually, now that I look at it, I think that is Coys. I think all of these pics are Coys. Yup, this is another view of the cut-out:

& and his open closet door! Eek! The mess! Haha! Heres one with the door closed:

Ahh. Thats better! LOL! There is also a skylight in my bathroom, but I didnt take a pic of that because it basically looks like the other skylight. One weird thing about the bathroom is that the door has a glass panel. Doesnt exactly make for a lot of privacy in the bathroom, does it?:

My mom said that my house must have been the model home back when they were building. That would explain all of the windows especially the ones in the kitchen and the bathroom. I have to put a curtain up there because I need some privacy. Now, when the kids and I are watching TV or something in my bedroom, I have to tell them to get out when I have to use the potty!

Heres my double sink:

Ive always wanted a double sink! To the left of that is the shower and the commode. I said commode because it sounds nicer than toilet. LOL! To the right of the sink is&drumroll please&

A soaker tub!!! I love it because it isnt a Jacuzzi, so I can put bubbles in it! (Anyone remember my bubbles vs. no bubbles debate when I went to the cabin last year? Haha!) I cant wait to use it! Oh, and someone did use it, just not me! The second day that we were there, I came home to find Coy fresh out of the bath. My bath! He said he didnt like the bathtub in his bathroom! Um, take a shower, boy! LOL! He said he wanted to use mine because hes never been in a bath that deep before! Hes lucky I love him! Actually, I dont mind. It is a nice bathtub. Im looking forward to putting some candles all around it and soaking in it while drinking a glass of wine and reading a good book.

So, that is my house! True has a new idea that she is working on for her room and Coy has pretty much decorated his, so I hope I can show you guys soon. We have a lot of projects ahead of us because the walls are so bare!

Hey Erin,

Subbing On...

I followed you over from Alysa's PTR (I always feel funny saying that- It makes me sound like a stalker...don't worry I'm not...:scared:

Your children are lovely...

You're writing is very funny and I sometimes feel like my life is a tangent so I can totally appreciate that...

Late August is actually a great time to do because you're right -people stop going those last couple weeks which makes it less crowded for those of us who do-(speaking from experience...) ...it's just hot... but well it's Florida right?;)

I love the idea of your cupcake quest... lots of great ones... I want to do a smaller version of that too...(shorter trip) I've had Crumbs in New York...very good... Have you had Georgetown Cupcakes?...(I see you're in Northern VA...)

Have to go catch up...

:coffee:

Erin, your house is so cute! :goodvibes I love all of the light and the fireplace. And that tub! Yep, candles, wine and a good book sound perfect.

So funny that you think you'll get more use out of your yard because its less shady- I'm always complaining I don't have enough shade and made Robbie build me a pergola. :lmao:

I hope you guys make lots of happy memories there. :lovestruc

And I'm so behind- I read all about your plans and Bruno a few days ago but didn't have time to respond. The plans look great and it's cool that you and Anne may be able to pull off a dis meet. :thumbsup2

Bruno is so cute! Funny because my BIL has a boxer named Bruno. I haven't met him yet because they live in Germany but the pics and stories my SIL posts on FB are priceless! :)

Your house is awsome...:goodvibes

Let's see lots of stuff in no particular order...

-Love, love the Spy Museum-so fun

-Good luck with the home schooling- I'll be curious to see how you like it... I've considered it a various times for both my children for different reasons... I didn't but I can totally understand how you came to this place...

-Both of my children have had anxiety issues... both diagnosed at different times... and they are both amazing kids... It's not always easy but it can be controlled and I think that it gives them a really empathy and understanding for other people and their issues...

I know I've forgotten other comments but have an awesome time in Boston... it's one of my favorite cities...:goodvibes
