I assume this is due to covid. Do we know when or if this is coming back. i havent been able to find any info on this looking at traveling to disney in Feb 2022. Also want to see if they have for other parks HS and AK or epcot (however we may not make ecpot with HS and SW stuff) we did this our last trip and i know it was $ but so worth it for our family and this will be a short trip for use to parks at 5 days. we usually go for 8/9 days. so getting everything in is important to us.

My guess is it probably isn't coming back now that onsite guests will get an extra hour before or after park open. But I could of course be wrong. Since it was a paid event, they would only be profiting by it returning.

Well I'm certainly not "in the know" about anything -- but I'd be a little surprised if they bring back the EMM events any time soon. They are starting new Early Entry for resort guests in October, and anything on top of that would detract from that perk {albeit a small 30-minute perk}.

I think it is far more likely that after hours events will come back in lieu of early morning magic, given the conflict with resort guests' early access as noted above. In fact, Halloween after hours events are happening this fall. I could see a different after hours even series early next year.

No clue if it will come back but I don't see why it couldn't, the 30 min "perk", using that term loosely, could/will likely change. Plus disney was able to offer that before along with morning EMH which were not at every park every day, so the 30 min perk may evolve. The morning magic just started really early. If I recall, it was like 7am or 7:30am and it wasn't a daily offering.

To clarify, the reason Disney was able to have both EMH and EMM before was because EMH was not every day--EMH and EMM never took place on the same day, because to do so would destroy the exclusive paid access EMM provided.

So I read your post as saying "if Disney goes back to the way EMH used to be, which is only on certain parks/certain days rather than the new every day every park benefit, then you could EMM resume." I think that ship has sailed, at least for OP's February 2022 trip. Would be a bit absurd for Disney to announce a replacement to the old EMH months in advance, only to walk it back to the way it used to be three months later.

I didnt know that EMH was going to be at every park i assumed it would switch like it did in the past. IE MWFS MK open early and late for Extra hours.

I know when we did our EMM it was roped off and we had special wrist bands that let us in to FL early i thought it was like 1 hr or more tbh. i know we rode mine train like 8 time poo like 3/4 and pan 3/4 times. was a good amount of time. we loved it!

Yes, the “new EMH” is every morning, every park for all resort guests. Deluxe resort guests have additional evening EMH on select nights/parks, but not every night.

Nope--the announcement said that information would be released later. I expect much closer to Oct 1--probably just a week or two ahead. That seems to be the trend these days--fireworks times have still not been posted for August, park hours are being adjusted 1-2 weeks ahead of trips, food and wine menus released one week before the festival starts, restaurant reopenings announced with very little lead time as well. Disney does not make it easy to plan ahead any more.
