I'll start by saying I love Disney +, but I came here to see if anyone else had this experience. In the wake of all of Disney's money grabs lately I realized something about my Disney + subscription. I was an early adopter of Disney + & purchased the 3 year plan as soon as it became available toting a FREE YEAR with the pre-purchase of $169.99. This equates to $4.72 per month versus the $6.99 per month Disney + was advertising for the monthly plan. A month later an email came through to bundle Disney + & Hulu + ESPN which I immediately got on board with. What I didn't realize at the time was that doing this meant I would be paying exactly what a new subscriber TODAY pays for the bundle which is $13.99 a month ($4.72 for Disney +, $5.99 for Hulu & $3.28 for tax). I will pay the same as someone who chose to sign up for the Disney + bundle without pre-purchasing and it's leaving a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I feel dooped a bit that I didn't realize that adding the bundle meant wiping out that "free year". When I called Disney + they kept indicating the "discount" they where applying per month (for the 3 year subscription I had already pre-paid for). Oh Disney, you got me. I now pay the same for Disney + & Hulu + ESPN as Jane Do does who signed up yesterday. Sigh.
