I've heard all kinds of rumors and wondered if there are any official statements about where the Dream will finally end up and what itineraries it will have.
I heard it was going to Europe.
I heard it was going to have its home port in Fort Lauderdale.

Does anybody know if it will ever do 3–4-day trips out of Lauderdale?
Does anybody know if it will ever go to Lighthouse Point?

The Dream is my favorite ship, and I was very sad to see it move to Miami.

Thanks for any insight.

The itinerary that are out for summer, fall 2023 have it in Europe, New York in October, then doing 3-5 night cruises out of Fort Lauderdale. You can look on the DCL website about what itinerary’s are out.

Lighthouse point they have said will open Earliest 2024 so there's always a chance! Plus it would be really easy to do "Private Island Hopper" cruises from Ft Lauderdale.

Right now they are sailing a 3, 4, or 5 night schedule from Miami for the most part. Looks to be similar offerings from Ft Lauderdale also. Most common it looks like is 5 nights.

I think it’s all fluid. Soon as the new ships come out we will see ships shuffling around again. Some people will want a new ship/different ship near their “home-port”. Only exceptions would be size requirements for certain ports.

Thank you!

I really like the Private Island Hopper idea. Castaway Cay and Lighthouse Point? I'm there.

I'll look at the cruise line site. Last time I couldn't see any 3 days out of Lauderdale but, that was some time ago.

The Dream sailings from Fort Lauderdale start in November 2023. There's only 9 sailings available right now (through the end of 2023) and they are either 4 or 5 nights. No 3 nights currently.

And there's a good chance the 5/5/4 itinerary pattern will continue through April 2024 followed by a second trip to Europe that summer.

After that, who knows?

The new ship arrivals will change things up again and it's a guessing game as to where any specific ship ends up.
