Disney Dream- September 25th 4-Night Bahamian Cruise!

Only 10 more working days to go (not including today)!

My wife and I are trying to get away with 1 checked bag, so I think we are only going to dress up on night 2. By dress up I mean dress pants and a polo shirt. I think for the other nights I'll be in jeans and a polo shirt. With most airlines charging for checked bags it can get expensive. The other side is that you have to store those bags in your stateroom too. I'm sure the rooms are not nearly as big as your average hotel room.

Some good news on the suitcase storage, there is plenty of space underneath the bed to store full-size suitcases and duffel bags. I just travelled with two of my best friends and we had enough space for three "girls" worth of stuff in that cabin!

ok, looking at a few recent 4Nt Navigators, here is the entertainment schedule...

Sun - Nt 1: The Golden Mickeys
Mon - Nt 2: Villains Tonight
Tue - Nt 3: Walt Disney Theatre - Variety show / Pirate night
Wed - Nt 4: Disney's Believe

Alternate entertainment.......Sunday, Sept. 25 - Colts vs. Steelers 8:20 p.m. NBC

...only question is where? Jumbotron, Lounge, ???

Usually the only games on the big screen are those carried by either ABC or ESPN.. Except for the championship games (World Series, Stanley Cup, Super Bowl) DCL usually doesn't put non-owned networks on the big screen... We won't know till we get there though for sure. You might ???? be able to get it in the sports bar. I honestly can't remember from our last several cruises if they put non-owned channels on the TV's there or not. I know NBC is not on the TV's in the staterooms.

Besides ... the only game that really counts is the Monday Night game.. Skins vs Dallas on ESPN which should be on the Big Screen and the sports bar. Go Skins!!!

Some of you have already left to enjoy WDW before the cruise and others are leaving in the next few days so I thought I'd send out a final reminder about the Meet & Greet.

Day: Embarkation Day~ September 25, 2011
Where: District Lounge located on deck 4 aft in the District area
When: 3:00-3:30 (ish). I believe the mandatory safety drill is at 4:00 which is why I chose 3:00 o'clock.
Why: To meet everyone involved in the FE or anyone else who wants to be involved in the meet.

We'd love to meet everyone whether your involved in the FE or not. I hope you all have an amazing trip. After planning this trip for 20 months I'm so happy to be mere hours away from my official vacation week count-down. We're leaving next Saturday & can't wait for the start of our Dream vacation. See you all soon!

What a fun idea!! I had some extra things, too (not my complete gift, but lots of bits and pieces of my adult and kid gifts). I think I'll let my kids drop them in some random FE's in groups 2 and 3.

That's kinda what I was going to do too. I made extra's and already have them packed. We are in group 3.

Welcome. We can't wait to board either but for some reason Disney isn't picking us up at our resort here at WDW until 1145. We wont get there till about 1pm. Would love to be there sooner. But we will hit the boat running so we won't miss anything. LOL

Thank you for all of the FE gifts. We had fun passing ours out--the corridors were LONG!! All of them were great. It was fun seeing people with their "parrots" on their shoulders for pirate night.
We had wonderful weather and a wonderful cruise.

What a great time! This was our first crusie ever and we loved it! I hope to post a trip report soon. We booked another cruise for February 2012 to escape the Chicago winter right about the time we hit the wall with winter.

Yes, I am suffering with post vacation depression! I miss the Dream and Castaway Cay. We really need to move to Florida!

We booked a dummy date too...but it will be September 2013 until we cruise again. I cannot wait.

We had a great 1st Disney cruise.My DD loved checking our FE every time we came back to our room & she loved everything.

I posted one. Very simple but something to go back and read to remember what we did and how much fun we had. It was my first time doing so, so its not the best. LOL
