They do update the menus… one item at a time. And there would probably be a Platinum mutiny if the removed the pursiettes from the menus.I haven’t been on
The Dream since 2014 and will be cruising on her this fall. I wish they would update the MDR menus. I was on the Magic in 2020. Black Truffle Pursiettes, still!!!!
This is absolutely correct and I would be part of this mutiny. They do update the menus… one item at a time. And there would probably be a Platinum mutiny if the removed the pursiettes from the menus.
I'm only Silver but would join that mutiny - I'm dreaming of having those pursiettes again on our next cruiseThey do update the menus… one item at a time. And there would probably be a Platinum mutiny if the removed the pursiettes from the menus.
To answer OP’s question, the only thing that comes to mind is the removal of the buffet setup in Enchanted Garden. It happened around the year you mentioned, when they discontinued any buffet outside of Cabanas.
THANK YOU!!! Cheers!I sailed her in Dec 2014 and Sep 2021. I don't recall eating anything new. Because I usually eat the same thing every cruise. I did try the sea bass with fennel in an Enchanted Garden and loved it. Subsequent reviews did not have as good a piece of fish.
THANK YOU!!! That's still great information!! Also, did they add new things to the ship or was it the same from 2014? I heard they changed a few areas? The biggest dining room change is probably in Palo. (You didn’t ask.)

I would mutiny with you. I always order 2!I'm only Silver but would join that mutiny - I'm dreaming of having those pursiettes again on our next cruise![]()
THANK YOU! Cheers!Hopefully, someone else can answer this With better than my vague memories.
With a 5+ year break in cruising, in my first Disney cruise - on the Dream - I got a little lost to start with. I don’t think I would have on the Magic. I had forgotten about the aft elevators‘ dumping you behind Cabanas.
But truly, nothing else stood out as different. So, nothing glaringly changed.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Buena Vista Theater is. The Magic / Wonder version is so small, with tight rows, comparatively.
And I thought the Disney Dreams show was better. Different performers? Or incorporating newer Disney songs?
The beauty in a long gap between cruises is treating it like a new experience, but with a feeling of home. Not just the same thing on a repeat reel.
Hope you have a similarly great cruise.
I think the Dream has Beauty and the Beast, Golden Mickey's, and Believe. Other nights are likely to be entertainers and movies, but who knows if there will be anything else! I don't think the Dream has done long cruises.Do you know which shows are they running?
We are sailing in June, 9 nights, mediterranean itinerary
Thanks!
