We have paid our deposit and can't wait to sail on the Dream. This will be our second Disney cruise. We cruised on the Wonder for Thanksgiving 2009. Our group is DH, and myself, and our 3 girls, DD (8), DD (6) and DD (5). Looking forward to making memories. We will also coordinate a fish extender list for those that wish to participate. My girls loved it last time.

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list. :thumbsup2

We are also on this cruise. We are doing back to back with the cruise on the 24th. Is anyone else doing back to back for these two cruises? I see the
24th does not even have post. Looking forward to a a spring break cruise on a new ship.

We will be there for our honeymoon! This will be our first cruise ever. I'd love to do FE with everyone.

We're booked for this cruise too! Will be the first cruise for each of us. Our daughter will be 10 when we sail.

Hello,
We are scheduled B2B too. Working on our upcoming cruise right now, but will get more involved with plans for this one late this summer. DD's will be 15 and 13 next March. Will there be children traveling with you?

Great to hear you will be doing B2B also. We have two kids but much younger. Two girls who will be 7 and less than a week from being 4. We did 7 days on the magic this past March and they loved it more than Disney World. Look forward to exploring the new ship.

Ours were 4 and 7 when we first started. It seems like almost forever ago. We've been spoiled by 7 night or greater cruises, so that's why I opted for the B2B. We also wanted to check out the Dream. These boards are very helpful for planning. If you are planning to do a day at Atlantis might be more cost effective to reserve a room at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island. It is for us due to the girls ages. You might break even.

Hi everyone - count us in, too! We just paid deposits, and are also doing the B2B with the 3/24 cruise. We just did the 3/20 Magic Western Caribbean and realy wanted a 7 night on the Dream.

We have me, DH Scott, Grandma Pauline, and DD Megan (14 by next March). This is our 2nd Disney cruise but first one for Grandma.

We loved the fish extender last time, so we would be happy to participate on this cruise, too.

Looking forward to fun times ahead! :)

Laura

Welcome aboard!

Has everyone done a disney cruise before?

This will be our first cruise and I'm so excited. Im so familiar with pretty much every other aspect of disney and the parks, but as far as DCL im in the dark. Is there any must do things, or things that arent worth your time?

Ive heard about the FE on the podcast board and it sounds like a lot of fun too. It reminds me of girl scouts when my sister and I were little.:cutie:

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! A DCL honeymoon will be just magical. There is way too much to do on a cruise, so highlight your Navigator each night and hope to do some of your favorites. Many of the activities overlap each other, so you can't do it all. Plan a special dinner at Palo or whatever it is called on the Dream. It is the adults only restaurant. I'm not being too helpful, but these boards are filled with threads on everything from packing lists to pictures from meals. We just discovered the cruise magnet thread. We've always admired the door decorations, but didn't know how to go about creating them. There is also a thread called "Mel's candy pockets..." You can use some of her creations for wedding guest gifts. If you have specific questions please feel free to ask. Everyone is very helpful.

Agreed, my DW, DD and I have been reading up and getting excited about our first cruise. From the looks of the food on board I'll need to fast for a week before we sail.

Thank you! :goodvibes Your post really is a good help. Its sometimes just nice to be introduced to things. Ive been trying to spend a little time just hanging around this board to get accustomed to things.

welcome to the DIS. Its so exciting that well both be experiencing our first disney cruises. If you find any good tips youll have to let me know. ;)

I think my favorite that ive heard so far is get to the ship early and have your bathing suit in a carry on, so you can enjoy the first afternoon on the ship.

Guess I should have stated that it will be myself, DH, and DS's who will be 15 and 11 at the time of sailing. If you see a tall very thin teen boy downing smoothies - that'd be my oldest. :goodvibes
