I have two questions!

First, are they still only seating your party at a table at night? Or will we be combined with people we don't know?

And second, I know the menu for a 3 day Dream cruise... but does anyone know what the menu are for the extra 2 days for a 5 day Caribbean cruise?

The word on the Wonder was that you will be combined if they are full, otherwise you will still have your own table. Given the number of GT rates they are putting out for the Dream, I would not expect it to be full.

I'd guess 3 standard rotation, pirate night, and a "see ya real soon" type menu...that's what other 5 nights (like on the Magic) have done.

Hmmm... Yeah, I would assume it's not full, since I just booked literally 2 days ago on a great last second deal... but I really hope to not have to be combined!

I wonder if I go to the dining room ahead of time to ask they can tell me if we'll be seated with others?

I haven't ever done a 5 night before... I don't know about a See you real soon menu... I'll have to try to Google it!

Thanks!

You can put in a request for a private table. Give them a call or try to catch them with the DCL chat thing on the website. If you aren't able to put in a request before the cruise, then you can head to guest services on departure day or try to chat with dining services through the app. If there's space, then Disney will accommodate your request. It's worked for me every time so far! Keep in mind, though, that first seating tends to be more crowded and you might have to take second seating for a private table.

You can find all of the menus on the Unofficial DCL Blog here: https://disneycruiselineblog.com/menus/

Awesome!

I will try the chat... it would be nice to have it dealt with before boarding.

And I'm already in second seating, so that works out. I prefer it! Gives you more time to snack and still be hungry for dinner! :)

Thank you for the link! I will check it out... I have looked at that site before but I forgot about it once I've booked this cruise.

Thank you!

We just returned from the 5 night on the 9th. It was the pirate menu one of the nights. That menu was the same in all restaurants that night. The other night was just a slightly different menu in the restaurant in your rotation.

Interesting! Thank you... I forgot about the pirate menu... I think I liked that one previously... I will have to go look at it.

We are going to have a party of four adults and three kids. Is it likely that they will seat strangers at our table with a group of that size?

I wouldn't think so... That sounds like you'd just get an 8 person table, even in old times!

Do you remember which night was pirate night? My booking window opens in a couple of weeks and I want to try for a Remy dinner. My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary and I would really like the dinner on our actual anniversary. But I'm also not a fan of pirate night, so I might try for that evening. Thanks!

on July 4th cruise pirate night was the 4th night
on July 9th cruise it was 2nd night
it is not the same night on every 5 night cruise

Just returned from the 7/9- 5 night on Dream. Spoke to one of our previous head servers, asked about dining and if they were seating parties together at tables if they were not "travel withs" and he said no they were not. I also asked about passenger count and was told it was 2900.

Thank you. So the July 4th cruise went to Cozumel and the July 9th cruise went to Grand Cayman, correct? I wonder if the Grand Cayman itineraries are on the 2nd night and the Cozumel itineraries are the 4th night. Our cruise is Grand Cayman and our anniversary will be on the 4th night.
Since we are not fans of the pirate menu, should I try to book the Remy dinner on the 2nd night or should I do it on our actual 25th wedding anniversary, which will be on night 4?

I am not sure how it is decided when Pirate night is
If you are concierge you could call & ask, if you are in a FB group for your cruise, someone in concierge may be able to find out
sorry I am not more helpful, although Pirates night is not one of our favorites, we usually request Animators the least amount of nights & then go to Palo on one of our animators nights

Oh, that's perfect. 2900 seems to be one of the higher numbers I've seen, too. Thank you!

I am on the Dream cruise that leaves tomorrow with a stop in Cozumel on our 4th night. Someone in my FB group said Pirates night was the night of Cozumel so that theory seems right.
