We really need a new computer, and I would really like this one. I don't know much about computer specs though. Would this really be good for adults to use as well? Can you add more memory (I really want 512)?

marty has seen and approved the purchase, I just need to know what I'm getting? If it's worth it? And, which deal to take, The Disney Store (leaning towards this one), or the CompUSA one. (Mind you, I was JUST thinking about getting a new computer before I saw this Disney package and leaning towards Dell, so wondering how those packages compare)

That's pricey for a kid's computer! My dd7 will end up getting this computer when I upgrade to a better one. I couldn't imagine dropping a grand on a computer for her!

My DH is quite the computer snob, and is not swayed by "Disney Charm". He said it looked like a POC, and that a computer like that should only cost about $400. Now he was probably exaggerating so I wouldn't want one, but that's his take on it.

He is a MAC user, hates PC's.. Like I said, a computer snob..

I hope I didn't hurt anybody's feelings...

DH told me he would put ears on this one and spray paint it for me!

Actually, we just buy a new one every year when the college updates. $100 isn't bad, and we donate the current to someone who needs one. (Someone always does!)
