The adults only areas are adults only at all times as far as I was aware...In my experience, kids can be up in the Satellite Falls area on the departure afternoon as the ship leaves port. But, it changes to adult only by dinner.
I have seen kids in the Satellite Falls area on the first afternoon. You also see kids in the spa when their parents are taking a tour. The adults only areas are adults only at all times as far as I was aware...
Just because you see them there doesn't mean they should be there.I have seen kids in the Satellite Falls area on the first afternoon. You also see kids in the spa when their parents are taking a tour.
I appreciate that. But I have not seen a crew member asking kids to leave adult areas on the first afternoon before Sailaway when people are touring the ship.Just because you see them there doesn't mean they should be there.![]()
There are signs going either way around currents to the front of the ship that say "Adult Area 18+ Only" which you have to walk by and ignore completely to get there.I appreciate that. But I have not seen a crew member asking kids to leave adult areas on the first afternoon before Sailaway when people are touring the ship.
Not about winning. Just an adult that enjoys Adults only spaces. You win.
I get that. I was just relating my experiences on the 9 Dream class cruises I have taken. Parents with children are in the Satellite Falls area and in the spa/workout room on embarkation afternoon. After we leave port, I have seen crew members ask families with children to leave Satellite Falls. I have not observed that happening before the Sailaway party. Perhaps they should and you are welcome to speak to a crew member about it on your next cruise. Not about winning. Just an adult that enjoys Adults only spaces.
At the end of the day, I'm not going to run down a crew member and ask them to ask other people to leave unless they are truly causing some sort of disturbance. I did this one time when a bunch of young "hooligans" were throwing cutlery and plates over the side of the ship while we were still at PC. That would be something to bring to their attention.I get that. I was just relating my experiences on the 9 Dream class cruises I have taken. This will be a fun opportunity to find a special new tradition for when you sail the Dream Class ships! That is kind of a bummer being we liked going up front with the kids in the evenings on the Magic (one cruise) and Wonder (3 cruises) with the wind blowing in our face. I am sure there are plenty of other aspects that are better than the older ships that will make that not much of a big deal.
Well, the kids clubs do have open house times. The adults areas really don't.Isn't there a reason for Adults Only areas of the ship? Just like adults aren't allowed in the Kids Clubs?
