Disney Dream 5 night— what menu on 5th night?

We have a 5 night on the Dream booked for our spring break in 2024. I understand the rotational dining concept— on night 4 we will be back in the same dining room as night one, and on night 5 we will be in the same dining room as night two.

I also understand that one of the nights will be Pirate night and everyone will have the pirate menu at their rotational dining. What I can’t seem to find is what menu is used on the 5th night? Is it the same menu for all restaurants? Or does each dining room offer a 2nd night menu that’s unique and it depends upon which rotation you’re assigned?

Just off the MDAS Dream 5-night. We had the 3 mains, Marvel menu instead of Pirate and night 5 was the alternative menu that each restaurant uses on 7 night sailings.

Thank you for your reply and I hope you loved your sailing! Just so I understand, was that alternative menu unique to each restaurant? Or was it the same menu used by all the restaurants?

Sorry, I didn't check the navigator, but I think it was different for each. Like on a 7-night where each restaurant has it's own second menu for 6 menus total, plus pirates.

The last night menu is the same for all three restaurants. I think it’s called the see ya real soon menu. The only time a restaurant serves a unique meal is for the main time you are in that restaurant. Every other time the location you eat in May be different but the food is the same so no one misses out on a meal offering. Also- the rotation of restaurants may not be ABCAB. But could be ABBCA or something similar

DCL will never make a specific MDR assignment experience something unique during a sailing, be it a food item or show. If they can't make it available for everyone, no one gets it. That's why, on the old Dream 3/4 rotation out of PC, no one got the "draw your character" show in AP and it was not available on 5-nights sailings or less on the other ships.

In your case, you'll experience the signature menu of each MDR, the Pirates/special event menu and a common menu.

That makes sense and I appreciate it— I don’t want to experience FOMO based on the rotational dining we’ve been assigned.

I don't know if this is what they are still doing (or if it varies by ship) but on 5 night sailings we have done in the past, everyone got the "Til We Meet Again" menu on the last night. A lot has changed since we last did a 5 night so, take this with a grain of salt. ;)

On a 5 night sailing do they have animation night in AP?
No ‘Draw your character’, since it is the second show in AP. It’s only available on 6-nights and more.

Depending on the ship, you get Turtle Talk or Animation Magic (a show with Mickey coming out at the end).

Hummm we are going to be on the magic for a double dip in august I just found a TR from last years magic double dip and looks like they got the drawing night… so fingers crossed. Being on the wonder last summer we were In animators our first night with animation magic with Mickey and it was great! Turtle talk might be good as we’ve experienced the others but we do love drawing. Thanks
