Disney Dream 1-Bedroom Concierge Suite - Stateroom 11020 vs. Other Recommendations?

Hey all! We're currently booked on the Disney Dream 09/28/20 sailing in a 1-bedroom concierge suite. We've currently got 11020 booked, but wondering if others have found that the foot traffic outside was too bothersome, being that close to the spa & entryway. We booked this stateroom in particular because of the convenience of the location, but wondering if this location is (or isn't) so ideal. Thanks!

ETA: The other suite we are considering is 12014.

I would prefer floor 12 if you have the option to change. We loved the convenience of the lounge being so close.

Foot traffic and noise will not be a problem. The space around the elevators seems smaller on the floor plan than it is in reality. Plus, people coming and going from the spa and the fitness center rarely make noise.

However, we much prefer the convenience of being close to the lounge on deck 12.

I would probably switch if it were my choice. I have never stayed on deck 11 though

Also, isn’t there a difference with the verandas in deck 11? They have plexiglass or something, not fully open?

I agree with the previous posters. Being on deck 12 is better, IMHO, as you're much closer to the concierge lounge. Being right across the hall from the lounge is fantastic (I was in 12510 on my first cruise), and you can't beat it! I highly recommend switching.

I think I stayed in that room. Not noisy at all. But if you have the choice, deck 12 is more convienent.

This is the biggest reason I prefer deck 12. While yes, the deck 12 rooms are closer to the lounge, it's not that far. However, the enclosed verandahs are much louder and can get hot and stuffy.

OP - I suggest moving.

I would absolutely switch to deck 12. The convenience of its proximity to the lounge would be a no-brainer for me. Think about the act of taking steaming hot coffee cups up and down the stairs every day, versus popping across the hall!

We have stayed in the room you are considering (except on the Fantasy). We loved that room. The access to the lounge was fantastic. It was almost like an extension of the room since it was so easy to just walk across the hall to get a drink or a quick bite to eat.

There really would be no doubt in my mind about switching but part of that is my wife will never want the more enclosed balcony on deck 11. So we have obviously never stayed on 11, but we never heard anyone complain about too much traffic on 11. The only people that should be in the hall are those staying on the floor. There is nothing else or access to any areas in that hall

Hadn't considered the enclosed verandah being louder and hot/stuffy, but it makes sense!

We called DCL and switched to 12014 after so many recommendations for deck 12. Thanks, everyone!
