Disney Dollars

Do they expire? I'm thinking buying some Disney Dollars from the Disney store every paycheck will help me to save the spending money portion of my trip since the money won't be good to buy anything until I'm in WDW, lol. But if they expire after a certain amount of time then that won't work .

They never expire- They just seem to get more valuable as time passes (The 87 dollars are worth about triple to collectors but to DL they are still worth a buck)

You can look at it this way, you are correct. Turning your money into Disney Dollars is a great way to ensure you don't spend the money until disney world... Just don't go to the Disney store and spend them... THe only difference between this and a savings acount is you lose the fraction of instest they qould inccur. However as the above post mentioned, they tend to gain in their value over the years. We have two complete sets of the 50th anniversary Disney Dollars that we are going to frame and save. Maybe in a few years they will be worth a lot more?!

Might be a 'Goofy' question, but can I use Disney Dollars to pay for my room?

We usually use them for food, souvenirs and the like, but if I buy a few each paycheck, and they add up over time, what do you think?
