Anyone here collect Disney Dollars?

I think my last purchase was a $50 to commemorate the DL 50th Anniversary. I purchased 2 for my grandchildren and I think they discontinued them shortly after that.
I probably have about $500 total .
They were great for the tooth fairy or birthday gifts.
I wish Disney would design new ones to add to my collection.
I see them for sale on eBay but don’t believe people really pay a high price for this collectible.
I also collect Disney postcards and a nickel postcard costs about $5 nowadays! Haha

Not really, but I do have a couple as part of scrapbook pages from back in the day. They were so fun!

I agree! One year they were in DS's plastic Easter eggs, too.

Yes, Disney will accept them as payments for items on property. However, for the most part, you can usually sell them for more than face value.

Yes. Was sad to see them discontinued. Haven't found a practical way to display the ones I have. Currently keep them in the original windowed envelopes they used to distribute them in.
