Disney Dollars?

I think the answer is yes but can you use them at Downtown Disney Team Disney and the store that is attached to it? can't think of the name of the store

thinking of giving the kids some Disney $$ for Christmas they are 16&12 those are their favorite stores

Yes, I'm pretty sure you can. But, you can't get Disney Dollars anymore; you'll have to go with gift cards good at Disney World.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, you may be able to get them in Disney itself, but not at the Disney Stores anymore. Maybe someone will know more. It's late and I'm getting tired!

I thought I read you can get them at Guest Services. You can even order them by mail but it isn't dollar for dollar I think you pay an extra $15 for every $100 if you want them delivered before your trip.

Yes, you can still get Disney Dollars. They are not sold at the Disney stores anymore however. Must be purchased at Disney, OR you can phone and have them mailed to you. $15 flat fee. I believe the limit was $150.

I'll dig up the thread I read later today. Right now I have to get the kids fed & off to school!

I ordered on last week via the phone number and got them on yesterday They are so cute.

It was $15 to send because they have to send it via FedEx because it is sent 2day. It was a bit steep but I think that it was worth it. I only ordered $20, but I plan to order more closer to Christmas.

Here's the information I found. I just cut & pasted it in.

WDW Ticketing at (407) 566-4985. Press 2 for "gift cards or disney dollars". Press 3 for "ordering disney dollars".

- Disney Dollars are available for purchase at the Ticket Booths and/or Guest Relations at any of the parks or DTD
- not available for purchase at Disney Stores
- not available in the Gift Shops, for whatever strange reason
- may be able to purchase from your resort at the "front desk" (check-in area)

And... for those who really want the Disney Dollars and are not near Disney - you can order up to $150 for a $15 shipping fee!

The only "catch" is the maximum order is $50 Disney Dollars per credit card. However, you can use up to 3 different credit cards to purchase $150 Disney Dollars and only pay the $15 shipping fee once.

Disney Dollars come in $1, $5, and $10 denominations only. No new bills printed since 2009.

Unfortunately, if you are Canadian as I am, Disney will NOT ship the Disney Dollars to us...

If you order $150 at once, then you are you paying $1.10 for $1 Disney dollar.
