Disney Dollars

Does anyone know where we can get Disney Dollars? When I was a kid that was how we always did our souvenir money and it was great because my sister and I always knew exactly how much we had and knew when we had spent it all that was it. I asked at the Disney Store and they didn't have any and were pushing disney gift cards. My daughter isn't quite old enough to understand that you can't just slide the card over and over. So long story short, can you still get Disney Dollars? If so, where can I get them and can I get them ahead of time or only in the parks?

I'm pretty sure they stopped making Disney Dollars. You can buy them on ebay, but it will cost a fortune. You could always give your kid real money instead.

I bought them a few months back at a Disney store. The year before that my sister called Disney and bought them and had them mailed to her.

My kids love earning them for vacation spending $ and getting to use them in the parks

We went to Disney for our Honeymoon in June of '08. We were able to get Disney Dollars right at the concierge/counters in the lobby. I also think you can get them at the Disney Store. Hope this helps!

Just checked www.disneydollars.net and it is stated that as of October 4, 2009, the Disney Store no longer sells Disney Dollars and they are not available to purchase online from Disney. Some Disney Stores may have some leftover Disney Dollars, but once they sell out they're out for good. However, they are still available from Disneyland and DisneyWorld Resorts.
