7 days! :woohoo: I'm sooo jealous! I'm looking forward to the same 7 attractions (only with a billion more to add to it :lmao:).

I'm feeling more accomplished today. I printed a good 15 pages of my binder, went to the gym, worked on some itinerary updates, and got my nails done for the trip (I seriously might have the most awful, thin, short, ugly nails that in order to just polish them requires attention everyday, and I'm not doing that on vacation!). So I'm stoked that I have one less thing to worry about!

I'm a bit frustrated that I don't have a "schedule" yet, really. I did work on a final detailed one the other night and had some many ?? and gaps. I can't figure out why I made some reservations when I did, where I did. I think next time when I make ADRs, I will have notes next to them, like, "Eating at XYZ on ABC night because of 123."

I do have one glitch in my plans at that is that no discounts are accepted on Mother's day, May 8th. We have a lunch ADR that day at Sci-Fi, so DH said don't change plans over $5-10 dollars. Either way we would eat a TS this day at some point, so I guess its best we do it at lunch.

Also on May 11th, I had an ADR at Rose and Crowne for lunch, but I guess I cancelled it :confused3, once again, no idea why. So we don't have any ADRs for Wednesday. So I'm trying to figure out what to do that day. It'll be an Epcot morning, HS evening - but HS closes at 7pm...anyway...

I think DH and I will kinda have to play some things by ear. I realized today that we might want to go to the water parks or Disney Quest at some point. It'll be nice this time around with just DH, because we'll know so much more than in 2008, and we don't have to worry about the opinions or needs of others. So really...my trip report should be very interesting in comparison!!!

1 week! :cool1: i'm super jealous!

Six days now!

And we usually don't go as early. In 2008 and 2010 we went the last week of May/first week of June, so we were hoping for cooler weather (love your signature!), but it looks like we're facing the 90s! :cool2:

Not gonna lie, took me a good 15 minutes to narrow it down to 7!:rotfl2:

Six "extras" we might squeeze in this trip

  1. Watercraft or bicycle rental (Always wanted to do this as a kid whenever anywhere we vacationed offered, parents always said no...:sad2:)
  2. Chilling out in the afternoon in a lounge on the boardwalk with a nice drink and small appetizer (yes, I've thought this out!)
  3. DisneyQuest
  4. Actually staying for an EMH night past the first hour :rotfl:
  5. Taking a drive around the area (DH's choice)
  6. A night out at Jelly Rolls (dueling pianos, yes please!)

My favorite is the second one, I can only dream of actually relaxing on a Disney vacation, lol!

Yay for 5 days!

Just 15 minutes??!! WOW!!! You're my hero! :worship: I'd still be sitting here trying to narrow it down to a billion. :lmao::rotfl2:

Getting even more jealous!!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Loving your "extra" list! We've never done PM EMH's, but have a night this upcoming trip - anxious to see if we even stay long enough for it to start. :rotfl:

Out of your list, my #1 I'd love to add as an extra would be Jellyrolls! Fingers are crossed you'll get to do it and tell us all about it!!! :goodvibes

5 Must Haves for the Plane

iPod
Planning Binder (Unofficial guide will be packed...since its a brick ;))
Motion Sickness pills
Magazine
Gum

Wow 6 days!! I'd be dancing everywhere I went! :dance3:

Focusing is so hard right now. How will I ever get anything non-Disney done...:rotfl:

My favorite is the second one, I can only dream of actually relaxing on a Disney vacation, lol!

Yay for 5 days!

I feel like DH and I always talk about relaxing...but end up going non-stop for like 5 days, crashing for a day, then getting up and keep going! We're not really good at the whole, chill, sit, enjoy. We'd rather go, run rather, stand, and enjoy. ;)

If we do relax...it will be by accident. :rotfl2:

Hahaha! Well...maybe a bit more than 15! :rolleyes1

Well, I have my doubts about EMH...we went last year during HS one night and while no one was there, the lines were still insanely long. But we loved just being in the park late and walking around. And the EMH that we would do - MK, 11-2am. No big deal for me, I'm a night owl. Now DH on the other hand....:faint:

Hopefully DH will be up to Jellyrolls. Its right up my alley - not so much his. But there is a concert tonight in town (just a small, local thing) that I've been looking forward to and it doesn't look like we'll be able to make it after all. I'll just wait til I want to go and tell him he can make it up to me by going to Jellyrolls! :thumbsup2

I just had to come on here and share with people who will appreciate this.

I've begun packing! I have a list and another list and another. And now I'm going shopping with one of them. :rotfl:

My family did MK EMH last summer and it was so much fun! My parents left around midnight, but my brother and I stayed until 2...well it was 2:15 by the time we actually walked out.

It was really cool. No wait for Buzz, we just stayed on. Also no wait for Astro Orbitor and Space! :thumbsup2

We also did Evening EMH at AK which was fantastic also, but it's sad that they discontinued it!

Staying on Buzz...that sounds like an awesome EMH! I would be so stoked to be in the parks so late. When did the crowds die off? I hear you have to stay through the first hour to really experience smaller crowds.

I didn't know they discontinued AK EMH evening. When was this?

My trip to CVS was successful. I saved $25, spend $17, and have $5.77 for next time. I bought things I needed, as opposed to just what was on sale (like usual). I bought so much medicine and the like that the cashier probably thought something was really wrong with me. But I'm set now...motion sickness, cold, stomach stuff, etc. Lets go to Disney!

Grats on saving money!! And grats for getting the meds all bought! :thumbsup2

DH always looks at me funny when I pack meds. "You won't need that!' Well, hopefully I won't, but if I do, its here! (And our first trip, he realized how smart it was when I had the bottle of Pepto in the bag.)

I need to restock our first aid kit. You never know what you'll need and it's a lot easier to pack it than trying to hunt it down! (and paying x4 as much!)

I think it was over a month or so ago. Now only doing AK EMH mornings. Sucks for us-we loved going for EMH evening, especially since AK closes at 5 when we go. I love walking out at 8 p.m. when the place is almost empty. One year we had ADRS at Tusker at about 7:45. We were one of only a few groups in Tuskers and when we left AK was basically empty-We took our time and I took pictures! I'm hoping they bring it back, especially during the times when the close at 5.

Have a great trip! I just booked us for 9/24 to 10/6. Will most likely shorten it by a few days, or so. We loved QSDP last year-no ADRs to make. ;)

That does stink about EMH at AK. Since I finally got DH on Everest last year (took three visits on the trip to get him on it), I've convinced him he'll like it better at night (if he can't see how far he's off the ground...he won't care as much, right? :scared1:). Anyway, looks like we'll settle for EMH at HS from 10pm-1am one night! :woohoo: That sounds like fun to me!

QSDP does have its advantages! I think I might like to try it sometime. Looks like we'll miss you, as we're going the 16-24, but this way I can learn from your TR all about F&W in WDW(you'll do one, right??) :goodvibes

Oh yes, first aid is just one of those things that is so easy to forget. I have bandaids, and hoping that will be all we need as far as first aid goes! (Oh, and this bandaid "stick" that you use on your feet for blisters and rubbing n stuff. Its amazing and not greasy. I love it!

I looked through all my drawers/cabinets/overnight toiletry bags. Wouldn't you know it? I was out of everything. Usually before a trip, I only need to pick up one item, maybe two at the most. I was scared that I would have to pay full price for it all - but I lucked out. Thank goodness!

When I told DH that I got all these meds, he was like, "I never take meds...blah blah blah" which is true, he rarely takes anything. And I'm thinking in the back of my head that if his allergies flair up or he starts feeling queasy...won't he just be so lucky that I've bought enough medicine to last a family of four for a year? :rotfl: I bring them all, in hope I never have to use them. ;)

we hardly ever use stuff like Pepto or tylenol, but on vacation we tend to not eat that great... resulting in the need for some pepto! lol
I read in someone else's ptr that his little girl had an allergic reaction last time they were at wdw and they couldn't find children's benedyrl anywhere, ended up getting the ok from their dr. over the phone to 1/2 an adult's pill. So I've added that to my packing list! So much to think about... that's why I've already started packing for my trip on the 31st ;)
