Disney Dollars at VB

Last year before we went on the 7 day cruise, I bought Disney dollars at the Disney Store for our daughter to "earn" as spending money to use onboard the ship. Imagine our surprise when we were told at a store on the ship that they could NOT be used. I knew they would not be accepted for drinks and other small items. We are headed to Vero and I wondered if she could use them there for souveneirs?

Yes, Disney $$ are "legal tender" at Disney's Vero Beach Resort.

I tried to purchase a gift certificate for my Parents to use at Shutters, and was told I could only purchase a gift certificate in person, but they agreed that I could purchase Disney $$ for the same purpose!

We also used "Disney Dollars" at VB this past July with no problem.
