Disney discounted room only offer on UK-Expedia; ended 31 March.

I ended up adding a day on to the beginning of my trip and the confirmation number they gave me is all weird. It is like 4 letters and 2 numbers. Did that happen to anyone else? I emailed Expedia so we will see what happens.

Yes, me. My husband called Disney tech support and they found it for me.

Thought we would recheck some of the last few examples which we had posted in #543 and #549 on March 3rd, so before the price increase to see how they now compare and here's what we found. (Black font previous post)

Disney's rack rate for those 7-nights $2,436. So a saving of $987 or 40% at a budget resort over Thanksgiving.

I booked Beach Club Villas a few days ago and I am trying to find my reservation number. I emailed and they gave me three numbers:

1. Expedia.co.uk itinerary number: 15********
2. Expedia.co.uk booking ID: 4044***** (24)
3. Hotel confirmation number: iK*****

The first one obviously isn't it.

The second one is nine numbers starting with 4 but has the a funky (24) at the end.

The third number is actually 7 letters starting with ik...

Are any of these helpful to me?

No, unfortunately. Seems reservations lately have been getting the #3 (mine included.) but when you plug your correct one in to MDE, it will actually change to #2.

I'd contact either Disney tech support or Expedia on FB to get the right number.

We received a 12-digit confirmation number 44xxxxxxxxxx and after we entered it into 'link resort reservations' on My Disney Experience we were given a new 9-digit confirmation number of 391xxxxxx.

No 2. Expedia.co.uk booking ID: 4044***** (24) is very close and as it's only 11-digits why not try adding a 4 in front, so go to MDE and enter 44044*****24 , don't think it will work but worth a try and fingers crossed you might be lucky....

Thanks, I tried adding the 4, but no luck.

I sent them a message on facebook. Hopefully that will work.

Thanks Samaya for your great work on this thread!!! It was awesome!!

Many thanks Theta and sorry it didn't work, hope you receive that number soon so you can start your planning.

There's now only two days to go before our WDW vacation and our first night will be at the All Stars Sports which we booked through Expedia and that's how we stumbled upon this amazing offer. Because we arrive late we normally book the first night off-site but on this occasion the Expedia rate was lower at the Sports when compared to our normal off-site hotel.

As we said in our original post, we normally only watch and comment on the Global Neighbours Dis-forums and very rarely visit the US-forums. We'd posted the info on the UK Trip Planning Forum on 4th Jan and there's about 10 following threads but as the deal was so good we thought we would look into posting on one of the US forums and that's when we found the Budget-Board; we posted the info on 16th Jan and it's now reached over 580 threads and 59,000 visit's.

We hope there's many more DIS'ers who've managed to take advantage of this offer than those who've posted and hopefully once a stay is completed then they will follow-up with their experiences; such as how much was saved over future US-offers, did anyone receive an up-grade or in fact was there a better option and so cancelled Expedia, any info either positive or negative will help when there's a next time.

Anyway, after our one night at the Sports we check into OKW for 20-relaxing days and are so looking forward to getting back to our home resort.

We're too busy to check and compare any more dates as we must get on with the packing and last minute things we need to do, so if anyone finds a reasonable saving then please post and we'll update the first thread with a quick link and will possibly list completed stays when they're posted.

Many thanks to all those who responded, we've had a fun time posting and please follow-up your experiences even if it's for a November vacation.

All the very best from the UK, :thumbsup2 enjoy spending those savings and wishing you all a wonderful vacation......

Thank you again for the tip, Samaya! Hope you have a wonderful trip! We're leaving next Friday for our long weekend and thanks to the money we saved on our October trip (thanks to you), we're considering this one free!

Have a great trip Samaya!!!

Thanks for letting us all in on the deal! I have saved tons of money on my upcoming trip in October thanks to you:goodvibes

Have a fantastic 20 days at OKW!!!! So jealous!!!! Enjoy and relax! THANKS a million for this thread and your kindness and knowledge behind each post. It's members like you who make me revisit the Dis!

I kind of sort of followed the thread with interest but when I glanced thru it I didn't see June dates available. Friends of mine tried booking in June and again in July with no luck. Anyone successfully book a summer trip?

Great thread! Love when people can save money!

I wouldn't count on expedia.co.uk honoring their guarantee. Rather than canceling and re-booking with their HAPPYTRAVEL10 promo code, I decided to just ask for them to honor their guarantee. I had 2 separate reservations and they have only responded to one of my requests so far. The first response was to deny my refund because they stated that it was only for hotels that I paid upfront for and since I was settling up with the hotel at check-in, this guarantee did not apply. When I pointed out that I did pay in full, they then responded that my request was denied because it only applied to reservations made without a coupon or promo. However, their terms and conditions state that you cannot use a coupon or promo that isn't available to the general public. I haven't heard anything back, but I really wish I would have just cancelled and re-booked. The promo was clearly found on their own homepage. I shouldn't have trusted them to honor their guarantee, I guess. Haven't heard anything about my second request at all.
I'm having similar problems with getting my Disney confirmation number. I received one (after sending repeated emails), but no response to my other request.
