I think they're on to us! I can't find any availability on the UK site for any Disney resorts at all today.
Maybe not as availability is back, so I checked a few dates and there's still some savings to be made and here's a few examples to check.I think they're on to us! I can't find any availability on the UK site for any Disney resorts at all today.
Holy cow! If I did this right, I found 8 nights at Animal Kingdom for 1093 pounds or about $1808 in May. Disney's current price with the promo for that time frame is $2904. (That is just for a standard view room.)
Not sure where you get $2904 from. I checked WDW website and for May 30th to June 7th (8 nights standard room), I get $2135!![]()
I swear when I checked with Disney it told me $363/night. Just checked again and $249/night came up.Sorry for the misinformation!
Great that you've made some savings and spot on Belle599 with "the UK Expedia site prices each night at the same rate (ie: no higher rates for weekends/holidays). So if you are looking for a weekend stay, a holiday stay or (to maximize savings) a holiday weekend stayFirst off, thank you to OP for the heads up on the UK Expedia site.
I have successfully booked a WDW hotel stay for this spring on the UK Expedia site.
I apologize if this has been mentioned already (have not read the thread in its entirety) but wanted to share in case this helps anyone else.
It appears to me that the UK Expedia site prices each night at the same rate (ie: no higher rates for weekends/holidays).
So if you are looking for a weekend stay, a holiday stay or (to maximize savings) a holiday weekend stay, you will realize the most savings.
I saved $32 CAD/night so thanks again to OP!
I was able to book one night at ASSp, std. location, for 54.09 ($89.79 USD) for one night in mid-March of this year. The AP rate for the same night on Disney's website was $114.42 with tax. The rate on Orbitz.com for the same room, same night was $106.86 with tax when using the HOTEL15 discount code. I'm heading down to see my nephew march at the MK and just needed a value room for the first night before my stay at OKW begins. This was much cheaper than booking somewhere offsite and then paying for ground transportation. One question for those who booked - How do you link the reservation in MDE? Has anyone tried yet? I'm not having any success using the itinerary number on the confirmation email. It's not a huge deal because I'm probably not even going to go into the parks that night but it would be nice to have it in there in case I book an earlier flight.

Wait a couple days then go back to the Expedia UK site. Click on my itineraries and put in the number and your email. Toward the top right hand side of the page, it will say "confirmed" with another confirmation number. Put that into MDE under link my reservation.
Thanks! I guess that I'll just have to be patient for a few more days.Wait a couple days then go back to the Expedia UK site. Click on my itineraries and put in the number and your email. We stumbled on the lower room rates when we were looking for a one-night booking for our March vacation, we normally arrive late in the day at MCO so usually book into an off-site hotel and then check in on-site bright and early the next morning.
As you're a little unsure then my advice would be to go ahead and book so long as your Port Orleans reservation has the same free cancellation policy as a UK booking.Does everyone feel confident there will be no problems with this. Because, this would be amazing for me. I have 4 nights at POR 4/5-4/9 and Expedia.co.uk will let me book Yaht Club for just a few dollars more a night. It is for a conference that I am going to and need there not to be a problem.
