Disney discounted room only offer on UK-Expedia; ended 31 March.

Here's another example, this time checking in Sunday 12th April for 6-nights check out Saturday 18th.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in a Standard View room.

$2,374 - Disney's rack rate
$1,662 - US Expedia - 30% discount on rack rate
$1,496 - Disney's Florida Resident Spring Offer and Annual Passholder Spring Offer - 37% discount on rack rate
$1,399 - (£926.46) - UK Expedia - 41% discount on rack rate.

Next example is for the same 6-nights and show's the UK Expedia offer is similar to the Florida Resident Spring Offer at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort in a Standard View Room

$771 - Disney's rack rate

$653 - US Expedia - 15% discount on rack rate
$578 - Disney's Florida Resident Spring Offer - 25% discount on rack rate.
$578 - (£383) - UK Expedia - 25% discount on rack rate.

Figures approx and rooms/resorts are limited, if you're flexible then hopefully you'll find a comparable or better discount to the Passholder and Florida Resident offers.

I'm sure it's been talked about somewhere on this thread but has anyone used this site for other hotels in other parts of the world? I was looking to do a short trip with my husband to Cancun at an all inclusive. On the Iberostar website they have a "deal" going on that's $1032 for 3 nights. Expedia UK has it for £470 ($708).

Anything I should know before booking? TIA

Now expired :guilty:

Stink! I read the date wrong!!! I had it marked in my notes as expiring 4/3/15, but it was 3/4/15! Needed to rebook my reservation (again) since my dates have changed and thought I had all month to do it. Now I don't know whether I should wait for another code or just go ahead and book now in case rates go up.

Does anyone know the cancellation policy for a room-only reso booked through Disney? I'd like to cancel my room and book through expedia. Thanks. We're inside our 180 days but not by much.

So I just found out there is one cc company in Canada that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees. One!! Basically because Canadians travel so much it's a huge cash cow for them and they don't want to walk away from it (vs statistically Americans tend to stay home more so they can walk away from it). Grr.. I wonder if my DH would like to apply to another cc LOL

For a special celebration what about at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in a Deluxe King Room at Club Level within the Main Building for 4-nights over Columbus weekend checking in Thursday 8th October.

$4,984 - Disney's rack rate and US Expedia, no current discounts.
$2,525 - (£1,685.16) - UK Expedia - 49% discount on rack rate.

While in a Standard Garden view room
$2,607 - Disney's rack rate and US Expedia, no current discounts.
$1,616 - (£1,079.28) - UK Expedia - 38% discount on rack rate.

Just wanted to report back on my purchase. I booked one night at Coronado springs standard room. With tax it was 131 dollars on the Expedia UK site. Direct through disney would have been 221. I also was lucky enough to snag a free upgrade to a junior suite upon arrival. I had to call the hotel directly to get my reservation number to link to my disney experience. I tried Expedia first but never got anywhere with them. Since I didn't get my reservation linked right away I got gray bands on check in which is ok since I neons have that color yet.

Booking was easy and straight forward...great find!!!!!

Many thanks for posting your feedback and good to read of your free upgrade, hope you can make use of this web site again in achieving your long term goal.

All the best,

Samaya, currently enjoying our stay at AKL.

I've just rechecked four of my previous examples and all have increased in price.

This might be due to the stronger dollar and/or the number of rooms allocated to this offer selling out.

When the offer started on 18th December the exchange rate was around $1.56 to the British Pound, since then the US dollar has strengthen to around $1.48 to £1.00.

Looking back at yesterdays example in #894 at Disney's Grand Floridian in a Standard Garden view room.
$2,607 - Disney's rack rate and US Expedia, no current discounts.
$1,616 - (£1,079.28) - UK Expedia - 38% discount on rack rate.

The price this morning show's an increased from £1,079.28 to £1,107.60 and at today's exchange rate that's equivalent to $1,639, so an increase of $60 with the discount on rack rate now at 37%.

Anyone have any new discount codes? I'd really like to book soon. I know mobile20now is still available but hoping for 10% off.
