when I called to ask about combining the two discounts the lady said it would automatically do the free shipping over $50. so I could combine, but when I went to do it, it wouldn't let me. To make a long story short, NO you can not combine, but free shipping is definately a better deal, on my first order I saved $8.50 shipp. instead of $5.99 discount, and on the order I just placed a few minutes ago for nemo, dory and stitch costumes I saved $12.50 shipp. instead of $8.10 discount. I would call and switch discounts if I were you.

Well, got my costumes today ... and the Jessica Rabbit doesn't fit me!! Sometimes I just wish that all their clothing was sized the same!! I have different items from Disney in all different sizes!!

So, I had to call them to order a new costume ((didn't want to send the first one back and ask for an exchange -- that could take too long and maybe it would be sold out!!)). I asked if I could use the VISACOSTUME0525 sale code even though I was ordering over the phone. THe gentleman said yes. So I threw in a Cinderella costume for DD as well -- she loves the new style so much more than the one she wore when she was 4!! And hey, what the heck, might as well get Jessica's wig as well.

With the 25% off, Jessica Rabbit is $29.99, Cinderella is $12.74, and the wig is $4.49. I commented -- whew, just made it under the wire - no increase in shipping charges. He said, since we were correcting the size off a previous order, he waived the shipping!!!

Now, the original costume sitting here can be returned to the Disney Store for what I paid for it. Ok, I paid $39.99. So that will be refunded to my account as soon as I can get to the mall.

Net cost of todays purchase .... $7.23!!! ($29.99+$12.74+$4.49=$47.22-$39.99)

I'm still waiting for the shoe to drop ... and for the price on Kim Possible to go down ...

Though -- I did forget to ask for the free light up wand w/ this purchase and by the time i called back, it was too late to add it ... oh well ...

I just went to disdirect. I had some items in my cart so I decided to see how much it would be with the free ship code.
Well the reg. total is 202.88-26.59 with the 10% off code and regular shipping is $204.37

If I use the free ship code instead of the 10% the total will be $207.xx so its more money with the free ship code for me because they want to charge me $11 for taxes!

OMG! I am sooooo glad I called yesterday to get a price adjustment on the Pocahontas costume. They raised the price! Yesterday it was 16.99, now the price is 24.99!!! If I would have called today, I'd be getting $8 less back on my CC. I wonder why they raised the prices on some of the costumes.

WOW, prices went up since yesterday! Thank goodness I ordered then. But DS now says he'd rather be a power ranger than Stitch. Oh well, he'll have to learn to live with Stitch! Just can't pay $24.99 when it was $16.99 yesterday!
