Can anyone give us some information regarding the Disney Dinning Experience such as what it is, what it costs, and what benefits do you recieve by having it?

You can go to this site to get good info
http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dde.htm

Basically it is a card you buy($85 for Fl residents and $60 for AP holders) So you need to either live in FL or be an AP holder to buy it. And it will give you a 20% discount off your total bill(drinks included) at specific restaurants at dinner mostly(think sit down meals in the parks and hotels- almost all participate)

First is you must be either a Florida Resident or an Annual Passholder. It gives 20% discount on food and beverage (including alcoholic) for up to a party of ten at almost all table service and buffet restaurants in the parks and resorts. It also gives the discount in the resort food courts where there is no table service. It is $85 for Florida Residents and $60 for Passholders. A second card for spouse or domestic partner is $25.
