Breakfast... Mainstreet Bakery...One Cherry Turnover and Yogurt Parfait
1cs...pretty good turnover...$9.00
Lunch...CRT Princess Lunch...
Me-pork tenderloin (over cooked)
Her(mom)-Salmon (pretty good)
her (thing1)--Minor Domo (she ate it all!)
her (thing2)--Pretzel Dogs (she helped mom with the salmon)
4ts---not bad, not much princess attention...$91.00
Dinner---Flame Tree BBQ (AK)...
3cs---really good bbq!...$26.00
Day2 (Wednesday)
Breakfast-- a quick bite at food court
1cs---$9.00
Lunch--ABC Commissary (MGM)
This place is good and portions are decent. My daughters like the fish.
3cs--$31.00 plus we had 2 ice cream bars for snacks later (put them in a cooler)
Supper-- Ohana
The quality has gone downhill. The service was good but I was disappointed with the potatoes, veggies and just about everything but the meat and salad. My wife and kids miss the pineapple and caramel!
4ts-- $101.00 (includes virgin drinks for everyone!)
Day3 (Thursday)
Breakfast-- Food court (typical breakfast foods)
2cs-- $24.00
Lunch-- Earl of Sandwich (marketplace)
The staff here obviously hates the dining plan. we were told that bottled water was not available, only fountain drinks and tap water and rather rudely at that!
2cs-- dry sandwiches, dry brownies...$18.00
Supper--Boma (AKL)
The best place we ate. I don't know what it was but it tasted good, the staff was friendly, the girls sat and scarfed food for 40 minutes straight. and as we were leaving, a gorgeous sunset to boot!
4ts--$89.00 (a value!)
Day4 (Friday)
Breakfast-- used some snack credits, fruit at MK etc... $7.00
Lunch-- Tomorrowland Noodle Station
very pleasant, my kids like noodles and tofu so they loved this place.. creme brulee was good too!
3cs-- $24.00
Supper-- Garden Grill (Epcot)
a good meal as always, but the steak was better before. the kids loved the decorate your own cupcake. mickey and chip and dale are a plus!
4ts-- $85.73
Day5 (Saturday) checkout day
Breakfast-- Chef Mickeys
i have to say that none of us were impressed. the food was good but it was NOISY and the kids were made that mickey walked by TWICE without noticing them. we will probably try a different character breakfast next time.
4ts- $64.00
all in all the dining plan was convenient, easy to use and pretty flexible.
but we ate to our hearts content, breakfast lunch and dinner and still had 6 snacks and one counter service meal left to pack and take on check out.
Grand Total Value of Dining Plan... $710.83
would we have spent that much without the plan? of course not. but it was nice and we did save money.
but if they had not offered it "free" in september i doubt we would use it.
