just trying to make sure it's not a scam. Got an email today about a a $25 promo for DVC -- from the email:

I got a random email gift card the other day (no actual reason given) and my wife did in early January (again no actual reason given) and it ended in the @disney-email.com. So that is a legit domain for the email to come from.

Thinking back on it I think we got the gift cards potentially because of DVC “tours”. The one in January may have been for a VGF room tour we did and the one I just got may have been for an email exchange I had w/our guide while purchasing direct points.

Long story short, I think the email is legit. You can login to DisneyGiftCard.com and add the card there. If it adds properly it is legit. This will not prevent you from adding it to Apple Wallet or having somebody scan the barcode.

We got it! No idea what "Elderflower Limonata" is though! I think we can use it anywhere though. We are staying at the RR tower room 3/10 - 3/14 (DW and I) and weren't planning on heading over to GF but we can be coerced. Anyone else get this?

PS: FWIW on our last trip we went on the DVC Riviera tour. Maybe we had that in common with the OP who received the card?

Curious, is a promo like this just for direct members or are resale members eligible too? I'm a resale owner heading to WDW tomorrow for a stay on my points and I haven't received an email about this. I've also never toured a show room, so if that's an extra qualification then I definitely didn't meet it!

No idea but my trip is booked on my membership that has the blue card and was not yet sent anything.

OP here. We have only booked one night, cash at YC for moonlight madness. We did a tour last year at RIV (where we have points). But that’s it. I play with the buy additional point tool every now and then…

We did a tour at Riv last year as well. Oh, I didn't realize that - you don't need to be a DVC guest on Points to book MM? We are going to be there for the AK one in July.
