Just today I decided to book a trip to Disney starting 8/28! Talk about last minute....we never did it this close to take off...

Anyway, we've been to Disney now quite a few times and are looking for different restaurants to try.

Can you give me your favorites that are ONE dining credit (we are on the dining plan)....

These are the ones we tried already:

Breakfast with Pooh At Crystal Plaza
Breakfast at Tusker House (we liked this one and may do it again)
Chef Mickey's for dinner
Breakfast at Hollywood Studios with Little Einsteins (Can't remember the dining name)
Beirgarten (like it but did it twice and over it now)
Akershus (lunch with princesses -- we loved it and would consider it again)
Kona (dinner and loved it)
The restaurant right next to Kona, can't think of it, LOVED it and would do it again.
Mama Melrose (eh)
Raglan Road
Cape May Cafe (for dinner liked it)

We will be staying at POR this time.....open to ideas :) We like all kinds of food!!!

I'd be happy to list some of our favourites for you, but given that it's only 5 weeks away, have you gone to the WDW dining reservation site to see what MIGHT be available? You may have a hard time getting your 1st choices, so have some backups in mind and be flexible. I wish you all the luck and pixie dust!!

Some of our favourites:
MK and area: LTT, CP, Kona, Ohana, WCC
DHS: 50s Prime Time, Sci Fi
AK and AKL: Yak n Yeti, Tusker House, Boma, Sanaa
Epcot: Le Cellier lunch, Tokyo Dining, Rose & Crown, Marrakesh, Les Chefs de France

Hope this gives you a couple of ideas

I would just go on the online ressie system and see what is open at each day at the time that you want to eat. Book everything that you can and then try to tweak it later if you want to.

You will be there during free dining so you won't have too many options.

Good luck !

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Coral Reef the last time we were there.

With it being that close and with Free dining going on.

I wouldn't bother asking what people...most likely those choices are gone or severely limited.

Best thing to do is go online see what is available, book the restaurants with the menus you like, then ask about those places.

Or you may not have anything left to choose from.

Have a great trip!!
