Hello,
I'm currently reading the site of Disneyland Anaheim and I noticed the "Disney Dining Plan". I need your ability in English language because I'm not sure about what I'm reading.
For example I can choose :

Character Dining
one meal per person.
Adult/Junior
$32.00
Child **
$16.00

Premium Character Dining***
one lunch per person.
Adult/Junior
$39.00
Child **
$20.00

6 Disney Dining choices per person.
Adult/Junior
$104.00
Child
$62.00

9 Disney Dining choices per person
Adult/Junior
$156.00
Child**
$93.00

12 Disney Dining choices per person
Adult/Junior
$215.00
Child **
$128.00

15 Disney Dining choices per person
Adult/Junior
$267.00
Child**
$159.00

If I choose 6 Disney dining choices :
- Does it mean that I got 6 tickets and I can eat whereever I want ? (that is what I'm thinking - 3 days : 2 tickets per day - lunch and diner)
- or does it mean that I got 1 ticket and I can choose between 6 different meals ? :(
- Are the tickets available in all restaurants in Disneyland ?
- Wich restaurant do you suggest me to reserve for the christmas night (25 of december) ? I got 2 children. We are 2 adults. I want this special night to be magic for my children.
- Do I need to do a reservation now, or can I wait till the 25 of december ?

I know it's a lot of questions, but I really want this trip to be unique and perfect.
Thank you for your help and your answers
Peace

At DLR they give you dollar for dollar vouchers. There is little to no savings. If you use say a $10 voucher on a $8.99 meal you don't get change. If you use a $5 voucher on a $6.50 meal you have to pay the difference. I (and most on the Disneyland boards) say don't bother.

Reservations at DLR are made 60 days (2 months) in advance and typically only necessary for character meals and during peak times. If you need a reservation for Xmas day I'd definitely do that in advance.

You don't need to select a combination of the choices. Select one according to the length of your visit. Or a combo of my first two description which are for a single meal each.

The Premium Character meals are to be used at Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland hotel, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. or for Ariels Grotto's Brunch that is Breakfast or Lunch. That option on you list is to by tickets to either of these meals for one meal.

The Character Dining is for one choice of these breakfasts. Storytellers in the Grand Californian, Surf Up in the Paridise Pier Hotel. Or and with a :thumbsup2 from me Minnie and Friends breakfast at the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park.

Then there are the multiday plans. It give a ticket to cover a full meal well almost it has a set doller amount, so not anything or any restaurant. A park meal for lunch again with a set dollar amount and then snacks at a set dollar amount. All in mulitples of how many days. The key is to be able to go over the set dollar amount and pay the difference. Or spend under the voucher amount and loose the difference that you paid.

It can work but takes work. Though possibly there is a great post by a disser who made it work.
