I hope this is the right place to post this, but I was wondering how it works now. We did it back in '04 but it seems like alot has changed since then. Has anybody done it recently and what was your experience like? Does it still go off your "key to the world" card and what are the $$$amounts and how do you make up for it for example your daily snack how much per day and is it 1 item or enough to make the dollar amount, does that make sense I hope? Thanks for clearing this up for me as I would like to do it again for '06.

My understanding....Yes it stillworks from the "key."

$38.00/10+ years old and up
$10.00/under 10
Both rates daily.

There are a few threads dealing w/the "is it worth it?" question. For us it is. We are used to sit down restaurants.

For more info...look here.

ETA: look here as well and all of a sudden I am thinking you should not trust my price quotes! :confused3

Same as before sounds like.
1 snack
1 counter service
1 table service
per person per day

2006 prices $38.00 adults over 10
$11.00 kids 3-9

You must buy package for all persons in party for all days of stay. Usually part of a package but DVC'ers can get it and I think some have gotten it without purchasing park passes. Sorry can't be of more help

OK...glad to see my thoughts on the actual amounts were not that far off :)

BTW, the credits are not actually per day, well not earned per day. You do get a certain amount of them depending on the stay that ends up being a configuration of the quoted breakdown. If a family has a total of 10 TS credits, they can use 5 of them the first night. You don't loose any credits that you don't use "daily." They will expire at midnight of the day you check out though. Now isn't that clear as mud! LOL! :rotfl2:

Don't think, don't analyze, just do it. It's the best deal Disney has to offer. Pay for your meals up front and forget about it. The Cast Members everywhere know it inside and out and make sure you get best value for your buck. We found that each counter service and table service meal was more food than we could possibly eat. If you have a child in your group, the counter service CMs will always encourage you to order an adult meal for your children. You are only forced to order off the children's menu at sit down restaurants. With 2 children on our plan that hardly eat, we saved big bucks on our trip.

Didn't know that! Thanks :)
