We stayed at the Art of Animation and it was so convenient and easy to use our Disney Dining Plan! We did not have to worry about carrying money with us or worrying where to charge it. When we chose to use it we used the plan and when we didn't we charged it back to the room. Easy peasy!

The morning we went to Magic Kingdom we had bought a couple of pastries and coffee from the Art of Animation dining room and then hopped on the bus to the Park.

Our first meal of the day was BOG for lunch. I had pre-ordered our food and we checked in, found a spot to sit and waited for our food to appear. Our lunch was pretty good for what we knew we would be eating. Was it the most amazing meal of our life... no... but we also went in wen that mentality! Honestly, the ambience is what we went for as it truly felt like we were in the Beast's ballroom. Love the memories and pictures I have of our youngest daughter going to each room with her gaze and expressions in awe! The desserts were fancy looking but again not the best deserts we have ever had. The only complaint was that my husband wanted mayonnaise and it seemed as no one knew where it was! Eventually a cast member brought some over to him!

As for snacks I do remember that the girl's had popcorn and I purchased a HUGE cinnamon roll from Gaston's Tavern. I was not able to finish it as it was so big!

For dinner we had reservations for Cinderella's Castle. Again the ambience of the castle is beautiful and I have always been a strong believer in paying a bit more if it includes me not having to wait in line to meet Princesses! I do remember loving the bread! In fact, all the places we ate at our girls were HUGE fans of the bread and butter! All little girls were provided with a star and a wand. Not sure what the little boys receive. I noticed that the table next to us had a family that was foreign and I was able to ask our host if they could provide the children with their wands and stars.

The next day we went to Epcot and my first stop was the Margaritas in Mexico as well as the Churros. Gotta say... I thought they were going to be the tall churros that I'm used to at Disneyland.. which brings me to ask... are Churros at MK not the big deal as they are at Disneyland? Last trip I had 5 churros in one day! I LOVE churros!

For lunch, I was determined to make it to Tangerine Café in Morocco as I had read great reviews so instead I drank a couple of alcoholic beverages before I arrived to hold me over. We stopped in Japan where our young girls had Teriyaki Chicken at the counter service location in Japan. I can not think of the name at the moment! That is when it started to pour outside so it was relaxing eating inside. Oh, that's right I ate some rice to hold me over from drinking at the other countries...

Finally, we made it to the Tangerine Café! Let me tell you how amazing the food is! I selected the most expensive combo plate on the menu to get my money's worth from the dining plan. Even my husband that is picky loved the food. In fact, I was so full and content that I saved my baklava desert for later to find out that a sneaky squirrel got to it first in our stroller later that afternoon... I hope he enjoyed it...

For dinner we had reservations for Garden Grill and they were so accommodating as we were ready to eat an hour before our reservations as we had already gone through the attractions we wanted to ride. They told us that it was no problem and walked us right in. I love how the restaurant rotates! The only thing I would say as a complaint is that so much food is provided that we were not able to finish it all and felt horrible thinking that it would all be thrown away... even my husband and I ate more than we would have for that fact but we were assured that the food is given to animals as scraps. Good to know! I also recommend the boat ride that takes you through the greenhouses and crop growing because it makes you appreciate what you are eating at the restaurant as you know they incorporate it into their menu.

Overall, I am extremely happy that we had the dining plan and that we had the reservations that we had. We did not have to spend time waiting around wondering where we were going to eat and at what time. It was truly worth waking up at 3 am to book BOG and Cinderella's Castle. Ha! We do feel that we got our money's worth. We only ended up paying $25.00 out of pocket for misc. snacks for both days at the parks combined. (Not including my drinking around the world adventure).

Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

I agree the Tangerine Cafe is excellent food! We love having the DP as well.
